A snapshot of what you would do :

The Key function of the Manager, Delivery and Implementation is to provide Subject Matter Expertise and Technical Leadership for client configuration and installations of the apexportal and smartVM products.

Manager, Delivery and Implementation will play a critical role in the product’s success by working with the Implementation Team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the apexportal and smartvM solutions that meets Clients’ business needs / expectations.

Primary Tasks / Activities

Present a functional / technical overview of apexportal and smartVM products, scope the functional / technical requirements for planning implementations, application upgrades and designing interfaces from client’s ERP systems into the apexportal and smartVM products .

  • Manage Implementation Team on their tasks by providing training of the apexportal and smartVM products and provide Subject Matter Expert guidelines on solutions pertaining to the apexportal and smartVM products using SQL, Configurator Tool, Rules Engine, SSO, SAML or OData Feeds.
  • Identify critical apexportal and smartVM implementation requirements / barriers and develop an Implementation plan to complete project deliverables.
  • Develop program plans, coordinating with cross functional teams to manage, sequence dependencies, and coordinate release planning.
  • Serve as an escalation point for internal and external client deployment(s) of the apexportal and smartVM
  • Take Ownership, advise and provide effective apexportal and smartVM solutions to resolve the client issues and follow through to resolution without violations to Security and Compliance restrictions / controls governing the AP workflow in client’s ERP systems like SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards etc.
  • Mentor / allocate resources and Setting Project goals to ensure timely delivery of apexportal and smartVM solutions in a highly challenging, fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Provide various project status reports, implementation team statistics and make recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Assist Project / Product Management, Production / Enterprise Support, Quality Assurance, Development, Infrastructure teams in defining scope of the projects, project estimates and project timelines.
  • Required Skills :

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Finance, Accounts Payable & Procurement principles, Accounts Payable best practices / Dynamic Discounting, Data definition, Data Manipulation, Data Control, and Transactional Control concepts is required.
  • Experience in Portal solutions of apexportal and smartVM preferred.
  • Experience working on SDLC methodologies like Agile methodology, Scrum is required.
  • Exposure to programming and scripting languages (C#, VB.NET, LINQ, HTML, JavaScript) is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL / SQL Server, creating complex Stored Procedures, indexes, views and Administration, including creating and restoring SQL backups is required.
  • Experience working on SSIS - Developing and deploying SSIS using various sources like Oracle / SQL Server / Flat Files / SAP systems is required.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence software like Tableau, QlikView, SSRS and PowerBI required.
  • Hands on experience with key technologies relevant to API and ServiceNow integration solutions including : SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, REST, SOAP required.
  • Understanding of APIs / web services, XML, JSON, Single sign-on, and social authentication is required.

  • Own the responsibility for the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of client requirements. Develop, Implement and enhance high impact business process improvement projects is required.
  • Ability to provide information and recommendations to leadership on both regular and ad-hoc basis by preparing statistic reports sent to management is required.
  • Ability to create and maintain Mockups, BRD, Change Request Documents, FRD and Wireframes using various applications like Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Adobe, Snagit is required.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) is required.

  • Experience working with windows networking, including IIS and Windows security admin and Knowledge of FTP, secure FTP, and PGP is required.
  • Working to become Subject Matter Expert on apexportal and smartVM functionality and implementation procedures.
  • Ability to take ownership of complete release and delivery is required.
  • MS SQL Certification preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities smoothly and professionally is required.
  • Experience :

  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required. Masters’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Management, Analytics or related field is preferred.
  • 6+ years’ experience in the related field can substitute Masters’ degree
  • Required Experience (Years and types)

  • 7+ years of work experience in relevant field or 3+ years’ experience in Lead or Management role.
  • 4+ years of experience in metrics tracking and work allocation planning for project team.
  • 5+ years of experience working on SDLC methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in gathering and developing business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, business rules, and process flows.
  • This should include creating and maintaining functional and non-functional requirement documents using various applications like Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel.

  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience with large customers.
  • 3+ years of experience in coordinating, developing, and delivering release plans
  • 3+ experience in Change Management process
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance including System Integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile methodology and Agile Certification such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) ® Certification
  • 2+ years of experience in ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Baan, SAP, Oracle, or J.D. Edwards.
  • 2+ years of implementation experience in product like Coupa, SIM, Ariba SLP, Zycus, Tradeshift.
  • 2+ years of experience in programming and scripting languages such as C#, VB.NET, HTML
  • 2+ years of experience in Data definition, Data Manipulation, Data Control, and Transactional Control Concepts with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Servers (SSIS), or Oracle 10g.
  • 2+ years of experience with key technologies relevant to API integration solutions including Web Services, REST, SOAP, XML.
  • 1+ years of experience working with windows networking, including IIS and Windows security admin and Knowledge of FTP.
  • 2+ years of strong, broad Information Technology (IT) background including multiple software implementations.
  • 2+ years of experience in version control tools like CVS or Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite is required.
  • Experience with Supply Chain or Procure to Pay domain.

  • Occasional travel to client sites. Usually within continental United States.
  • Average one trip per 4 months, 1-2 days per trip
  • This is an on-site position based out of our Greensboro, NC office. Relocation will be required for non-local candidates.
  • Or it can be an onsite position in our Guragon, India office.
