Media Planners are responsible for analyzing data, thinking creatively, and dreaming up innovative strategies to make sure marketing campaigns reach the right target audience in the most effective way possible.
Armed with this critical analysis, Brand planning managers devise, propose, or recommend strategies for using certain media effectively to attract and retain customers, increase brand recognition, and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

In three months, you would have :
Understand the category and brand objectives for the year
Understood Wavemaker way of working
Brands media requirement and way of planning
In six months, you would have :
Initiated & delivered at least 2 strategic projects in Integrated planning
Successfully lead media discussion with the client
In 12 months, you would have :
Worked on media briefs independently
Complete understanding of the portfolio
Worked and presented a media approach
Responsibilities of the role :
To build and foster client relationships by taking charge of the clients media requirements from formulating strategies and plans to final implementation.
Provide media plans across mediums post media brief mining and other data analysis.
Provide insights led solutions for brand problems through Provocative Planning and other media tools. Generate ideas for brands and lay down communication approach to achieve innovations across mediums.
Focus on the quality of output / consistent performance / professional code of conduct / sense of ownership / honesty and integrity.
What you will need :
Understanding of integrated Online and Offline media planning, campaign management and data analysis.
Experience with Media Research Tools (Comscore, GWI, BARC)
Experience of planning on Google and Facebook platforms; programmatic media
Plan and manage all digital marketing, trackers, communication, social media and display advertising campaigns
Minimum 5-6 Years work, preferably within media planning and digital marketing
Strong business, marketing & consumer understanding
Keeping abreast of current industry communication / media thinking
Strategic innovation & creativity skills, excellent presentation skill
Analytical skills both qualitative and quantitative
Strong knowledge and understanding of media tools and techniques / processes
Understanding of all media channels (includes digital) and disciplines and the ability to develop simple and actionable ideas into strategies that matter
Team player and positive attitude
Excellent communication skill.
