Description

As a web app developer for WAS engine team, you will be designing and developing web applications , REST API using modern web2.

0 technologies to validate features of DAST tool.

You will get to learn and experiment with modern web2.0 technologies while developing target web apps for the upcoming features of the engine.

You will work very closely with the development team and play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy of the engine with your insights.

This is for a position in our Pune office, but will require working with a larger team of engineers in Pune and US (San Francisco)

Responsibilities

Build and enhance test web applications to simulate real-world situations using modern web technologies

Develop test web applications to simulate vulnerabilities and security issues

Develop test web applications to simulate / reproduce customer application behavior

Required skills

2+ years of experience in web applications development (using modern javascript frameworks)

Database knowledge (preferably SQL)

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Understanding of HTML / DOM, XML, CSS, Javascript and Javascript frameworks like JQuery, Ajax, AngularJS, ReactJS etc.

Ability to install and configure web applications

Strong communication and team-work skills

Ability to work independently and self-learner

Good to have

Knowledge of HTTP protocol

Understanding of web application security, OWASP top 10

Database / SQL knowledge

Server side scripting using PHP, Python, Ruby, Java etc.
