In this role, youhave the opportunity to

TheElectrical engineering Manageris part ofglobalorganization that delivers impact to multiple businesses within Philips.

The role manages high impact, complex transfer & Sustaining projects that enables Philips to reduce risk, improve profitability, align with Philips’ strategic supply base and optimize supply chain flexibility.

The primary function within this role is to execute fast-paced,high qualitytransfer & sustaining projects and drive technical ideation of productivity & sustaining projects working with R&D, PE & CM counterparts.

You are responsible for

Understanding System & Electrical architecture , their working principle, definition, System Requirement Specification and requirement flow down to differentsubsystem, advisingthe System Architect regarding choices of whathas tobe achieved in hardware and what in software (multidisciplinary), and further advising on make-or-buy decisions, working closely with supplier and Business units acrossPhilipsproducts.

DriveBusinesscluster(Connected care, Precision Diagnostics, Interventional guided therapy & Personal Health) levelsynergy on best practices for product quality

Creation and development ofaElectrical / Electronic / MechatronicsCenter of Excellence including Senior Architect, Program Manager, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics leads, experts, engineers and technicians.

Responsible to Leada high performing teamand Manage People performance

Is abreast of / participates in standards know-how

Responsible for effort estimation and inputting for Program planning

Define subsystem architecture under considerations of platformor legacy systemconstraints

Working closely with all the other team members both R&D team members (Like Systems, Verification, Norm compliance etc..

and cross functional stakeholders (Like Service, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Clinicaletc ) for the projectsto timely outcome

Ensuring Reliability and Serviceability requirements of the system / subsystem / components for a project

Performs work in line with the processes that have been agreed in the department.

Maintains product and company reputation by complying with country specific regulations.

Managing R&D relationships with Engineering service suppliers.

Delivering on all functional responsibilities including Hiring, Coaching, Competency management, Performance management, etc.

Developing project scope, assessing technical & project risk, establish technical requirements for the project.

Preparation of WBS, RACI & effort estimation for project.

Guiding and mentoring designers & engineers on technical review, DFMEA, DFA / DFM.

Ensures that products meet external and internal customer quality needs, cost targets, assurance of supply, address component obsolescence and service needs

Gains agreement on achieving Business case, project objectives, balancing schedule, cost, quality and requirements

Holds reviews with internal stakeholders, including Supplier transfer excellenceteam (STET) Management Team members, to review plans, strategy and actual metrics for the products he / she is responsible for

Determines project risks, defines corrective action and drives the projects to closure

Ensures compliancetocorporate and regulatory agencies policies / rules / procedures

As a senior member within this team, the transfer leader is responsible for driving technical excellence within said projects to ensure first-time-right quality.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience / Preferred Skills :

Bachelor / Masters inElectrical,Electronics, EE, Control system, High voltageor equivalent

11+ Years of total experience with 5+ years of PeopleManagement experience

Successful track record of project management

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstratedexperience one2edevelopment ofproducts 9Systems or sub-systems)

Should be hands-on with Engineering Change Management, Design Transfer processes.

Demonstrated experience onsystem testing, test automation & test fixture design.

Worked onsupply base transfer / industrial transferprojects

Great work ethics with a passion for quality, Lean and business efficiency

Experience in EMI / EMC and Compliance testing are addedadvantage.

Experience in VAVE & Six sigma projects are good to have

PMP Certification, MBA and experience in a regulated medical device development and manufacturing environment a plus
