Senior Database Developer About the Position The Sr. Software Engineer will be a software development member of the global Information Systems team driving the development of various reporting and dashboarding needs of the enterprise and database programming needed to various application developments in the enterprise.

A computer science or related degree, 4+ years in software development, ability to own software solutions related to database from start to end, capability to learn new technologies and processes, and good communication skills are vital to your success.

As a Sr. Software Engineer at 24 7, you will apply computer science and engineering skills to the development of applications.

You will be part of a team of senior software industry veterans, and, through clear thinking and hard work, should achieve much success while contributing to tools, applications and libraries.

  • Participate in the analysis, design, development of SQL Server DB programs, SSIS, SSRS tools
  • Ability to decompose / translate business requirement to technical design and be able to design database objects which are scalable and flexible for change
  • Sound knowledge & Expertise of Database development including developing Stored Procedures, functions etc.
  • Design layout of SSRS reports and determine the best way to present data to end users
  • Good understanding of data-modeling concepts
  • Develop SSRS reports and dashboards using Microsoft Reporting Services utilizing SQL Server 2012 and above
  • Strong SSIS skills and experience in dealing with heterogenous data sources. Good knowledge in .net for performing script tasks in SSIS packages
  • Extensive knowledge working in SSAS Tabular models and needful reporting experience in SSAS
  • Fast adoption of new tools and techniques
  • Work on cross-functional solutions, from requirements gathering, solution architecture, development and implementation
  • Design and deliver software as part of cross-functional teams
  • Ability to write shared and reusable code
  • Implement and enhance sophisticated real-time enterprise data integrations
  • Design and implement data management solutions that support scalable, highly performing systems
  • Work within a modern DBMS environment to ensure 24 7’s applications and support staff have reliable and accurate data supplied to them at all times
  • Lead technical communications with other teams, both internal and external
  • Develop and maintain application documentation
  • Should possess strong non-technical skills including, but not limited to, problem-solving, work prioritization, communication, self-
  • direction, and time management.

  • Contact Center / BPO Domain knowledge
  • Understanding of Database Query Performance tuning & optimization
  • Good communication skills, able to work independently on ETL tasks, including data-analysis and documentation.
  • Should be knowledgeable about loading various DIMs / FACTs load using SSIS packages.
  • Should have worked with different sources like files, web services, and database systems.
