Define test strategies, create test plans, collaborate with leads, architects and peers for test plan reviews
Develop test plan and execute testing for Compute software releases on all compute platforms including AMD GPUs, Server systems and OEM systems.
Execute test plans and report test progress and critical issues throughout the testing cycle
Enforce quality through automation, and promote test driven development
Leading AMD's ROCm releases, gather tests requirement and drive those efforts and make sure those are getting delivered on time.
Contribute to Improve overall process, quality of products.
Be involved in automation of manual test cases and work closely on automation infrastructure
Responsible for new GPU / System bring up, ROCm SW stack testing
Executing white box, black box and regression tests for existing ROCm features
You will mine the test database, analyze and create metrics to improve the test ecosystem.
Thrive in a fast-paced agile environment
Discipline (BTech; MTech preferred) and 8+ years' experience in SW QA and Automation development
Experience in leading projects and dealing across functional teams activities
Development experience in test support organization
Strong knowledge in QA methodology and pay attention to details
Should be experienced in developing test strategies, high quality test plans and test execution
Prior working knowledge with embedded systems, Linux, Perl, Python, and bug logging
Experience in writing code in C and C++
Understanding of Parallel programming, ideally OpenCL , CUDA, and OpenACC a plus
Should be proficient in building test setups, should have good HW and SW troubleshooting skills
Automation / Tool Development experience
Understands leading projects and dealing across functional teams are a big plus
Test / validate large scale virtualization infrastructure and / or distributed systems
Prior work experience with Containers (Docker)
Virtualization infrastructure software such as Xen and KVM is a plus
Experience in leading projects and dealing across functional teams are a plus
Understanding machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the computer vision technologies is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and works independently within diverse teams
