Requisition ID 51292098 Category Technology Systems Services Group Location Bangalore, KA IN Posting Date 11-03-2020 Job Description Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in Administration / Design and Implementation on EMC Storage arrays, Symmetrix (VMAX / VPLEX / VNX / Unity) PRIMARY Skill VPLEX , VMAX , VMAX all flash , VNX unified ,EMC unity , RPA Isilon and ,EMC SAN Storage Administration Secondary Skill Brocade fabrics experience on both remote and Data Center arrays from Mid-range to Enterprise products.

Preferably need hands on experience and have worked explicitly on EMC Vmax / Vplex, and EMC VNX. Very good understanding of performance tuning parameters and performance related troubleshooting.

Good understanding of replication tools for local and remote data protection methods. Experience in Designing, Configuring and troubleshooting Fabric environment constituting on Experience in SRDF and time finder configuration in EMC storage environment Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis factors of Storage Arrays In-depth knowledge of using SYMCLI Experience in Designing, Configuring and troubleshooting Fabric Environment constituting Brocade / McData / Connectrix / Cisco switches.

In-depth knowledge of managing and administering ECC Certification on EMC technology is an added advantage. Hands-on knowledge on in any of the storage management applications like Storage Essentials, ECC etc Experienced knowledge of data migration methods and understanding of migration methodologies.

In depth Knowledge on ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem Management, Configuration management and Change Management processes.

Good skills on performance optimization. Solving complicated Hardware cases and Liaising with Hardware Vendor / EMC support Advanced trouble shooting skills and identify the severity of the issue, Ability to Resolving issues quickly to account / customer satisfaction and Prepare RCA Provide operational support on a 24x7 rotation basis.

Good communication skills with experience in Customer facing roles and leading from front during any issues and requirements.

Other Mandatory Requirement Should be ready to work in any shift including Night shift Should be ready to work during weekend (SAT and SUN) Should be a good team player Capable of handling escalation independently
