We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our Network Data Zone within our Platform Services subdivision. Your job will be to exercise high-level thinking, boots-on-the-ground interaction design, visual design and user-focused experience design.
In this role, you will work closely with a multi- disciplinary agile R&D team to define, design and test product and digital service features with the goal of building a connected ecosystem, specifically focusing on driving growth and unlocking meaningful insight from diverse data sources by enabling bulk healthcare data ingestion, transformation and delivery.
You will embrace the challenge of elevating design within an enterprise product team, where user experience competes for attention against many other valid R&D priorities.

You understand the value of exploring and validating the problem space. You help teams identify pervasive profitable problems to assist in developing product strategies.

You recognize the iterative nature of design and execute appropriately. You value lifelong learning and are continuously upskilling yourself.
The Team : Our Network Data zone within Platform Services subdivision liberates the wealth of healthcare data across our ecosystem, seamlessly transferring and transforming bulk data so clients can easily move to, grow with, and operate on athena, and harness the power of our network insights.
While you will individually own the experience design for the products your team works on, you will be supported by a horizontal UX org of over 100 designers and researchers working on various products and projects.

Understand problem space (exploratory research, synthesis, report findings)
Define solution framework (visioning, workflow design, information architecture)
Influence roadmap (backlog grooming, cross-functional planning)
Execute on design iteration (Interaction design, visual design, wireframing, specifications)
Design and execute experiments (prototyping and testing)
Build cross functional team alignment & user empathy
Develop own knowledge, act as expert resource
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, Business or related disciplines
4+ years of relevant experience
Significant experience in UX research
Significant experience in product design
Experience working in agile development environments
