As a System Engineer, the responsibilities will include working with customer and project engineers to develop requirements, evaluate product definitions and feasibility studies.
Decomposing high level requirements into conceptual Actuation and Propeller System architectures.
Presentation and justification of design concepts and trade off analysis during internal peer reviews using both written and oral skills.
Preparation of system level verification documentation such as qualification plans, qualification test procedures, similarity analyses and test reports.
Develop systems requirements for the systems including system performance, system interfaces and architecture.
Works closely with software and hardware engineers to make architecture allocation decisions.
Maintain and communicate requirements, allocate requirements among subsystems, and assure compatibility among subsystems so that the product ultimately meets its final objectives.
Develop and conduct test plans, procedures, and results for validation in support of FAA certification.
Support validation of the design and ensure that the system meets performance standards.
Writing test scripts for automation of testing.
Performing testing in simulation environment as well as the real hardware.
Work allocation, tracking and guiding peers in the team.
Debug and integrate software in LRUs.Requirements : ?
Bachelor of Engineering (BE / BTech.) degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering with 6-9 years of experience in the System level activities preferably Aerospace.
At least, 2 years of experience in leading a team.
Understanding of complete Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle : Requirements, design, development, integration and qualification tested to the requirements.
Good communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must.
Experience in scripting languages like Python, Perl.
Good to have programming exposure in C language.
Verification & Validation, certification process, Black box testing
Understanding of Actuation and Propeller System of avionics
Exposure to BITE and various diagnostic functions in avionics
Proficiency in Tcl / Tk, Python and Perl scripting is must.
