Responsibilities

  • Developing applications from detailed design specifications
  • Development and implementation experience with object-oriented programming languages, design patterns and design principles.
  • Conducts system-wide testing and some integration testing
  • Identifies potential opportunities for code optimization
  • Provides input for code reviews and helps with environment build deployments, release notes and build notices
  • Reviews code to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues and defects and helps to identify sources of defects as well as troubleshoots various forms of code
  • Working with other developers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Interacting with customers (on specific items)
  • Optimize application through rigorous performance tuning and testing.
  • Mentoring and coaching of graduate staff.
  • Seek and resolve production problems with new ideas
  • Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution / approach etc
  • Qualificationswe seek in you

    Minimum qualifications

  • BE / B Tech / M Tech / MCA / BCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferredqualifications

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry an advantage.
  • Good Experience in Microsoft DotNet Technology.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript as a first-class language.
  • Proficient in MS SQL Server and Transact SQL Development (Writing SQL Queries, procedures and triggers) and query tuning
  • Development experience in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and frameworks such as angular
  • Good understanding of C# fundamentals.
  • Sound debugging skills using tools like browser's developer tools, VS IDE, fiddler etc
  • Work with other teams to understand business rules and interpret data.
  • Able to trouble shoot and address data issues
  • Experience in maintaining, extending existing database design and implementation.
  • Uses design tools to frequently share and communicate design ideas on larger systems
  • Uses patterns frequently, contributing to best practice and process improvements
