Create Project plan and project strategy specifically for agile method of delivery
Create accurate effort estimates for larger and complex projects and reviews the estimates prepared by lead tester for smaller projects
Interact with QA, BA, GTM and development resources for requirement clarification, status communication, forecasting and prioritization of work.
Reviews test plans and test strategy documents in a way that identifies gaps / errors to the maximum extent possible.
Participate in other functional activities and define and improve processes for the Organization.
Review of functional / technical specifications, wherever applicable
Team management - Estimation, Metrics reporting, anticipating risks, issues and providing early warnings
Significant experience delivering and overseeing end to end initiatives using Agile and who have played leading roles in similar transformations
Ensure Quality process compliance
People and Talent
Allocate work to resources based on capability and availability so as to maintain optimal resource utilization.
Forecast resource requirement and efforts for forthcoming projects
Manage, guide and motivate the team to produce results. Is responsible for performance appraisals, career path guidance, training, and conflict resolution within the team
Experience of strong relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitation, and impediment removal as a servant leader
Operate Scrum at scale for multiple distributed teams working on the same product, coordinating discussions of progress on their interdependencies, and focusing on how to integrate the delivery of software, especially in areas of overlap.
Resolve issues and perform comprehensive reviews at various stages of the project so as to identify and minimize deviations from schedule and quality.
Report periodically on status to management.
Perform root cause analysis of defects; recommend and implement comprehensive defect prevention processes for the assigned product / s or projects so as to achieve reduction in defects.
Monitor, follows-up and review work progress, so as to ensure that delivery is on time, within the budget and adheres to prescribed quality norms
