Who We are :

We are the Buying Experience Product management team based in Hyderabad that own significant portion of the buying experience for Amazon Business.

The PMT team is tasked with defining and delivering the future of Amazon Business Buying Experience covering discovery, consideration, post purchase and mobile.

What you will do :

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (technical) for Amazon Business to focus on one or more areas of buying experience funnel such as discovery, consideration and post-purchase.

The PMT will manage a significant charter within the buying experience area and / or backend services that would impact how we deliver buying experience.

More specifically, you will :

  • Own delivering on your charter’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Net Promoter Score, Customer Satisfaction score (CSAT), contact reduction, and revenue
  • Provide leadership in creating the vision for one or more areas within the buying experience by working closely with stakeholders across the globe
  • Create a roadmap that meets current and future requirements for Amazon Business customer segments, such as enterprise, SMB and Micro segments
  • Partner with UX, tech team(s), and engineering leadership to execute on the roadmap and deliver targeted results.
  • Analyze and identify insights into product performance and use data driven strategies to optimize roadmap on a continuous basis
  • This leadership role calls for an experienced professional who can empathize with customers and stay ahead of the game in planning and execution of buying experience capabilities as Amazon Business continues to evolve and rollout unique business-specific programs and features.

    The individual will need to provide leadership and become the rallying point for multiple teams that span buying experience and stakeholders such as Amazon Business International, vertical teams, catalog teams, analytics, and customer support operations.

    The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys and excels in dealing with significant ambiguity and has keen interest in enterprise procurement and customer experience that is vastly complex with multiple user roles, groups, entities, and thousands of users for each customer.

    He / she will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to create and sustain a sense of urgency, and a proven ability to lead large cross-functional projects including communication across all levels and teams in the organization : senior leaders, technical teams, finance, operations, analytics, and business leaders.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business management, information systems, engineering, computer science, or related field followed by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in areas such as product management, product planning, project management, and business analysis
  • Demonstrable track record of conceiving and launching products in e-commerce, enterprise procurement, and / or other large-scale web products
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to prioritize projects and get commitments from internal stakeholders, including TPMs, SDEs, SDMs, program managers, and leaders at multiple levels across operations, and business areas.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional / remote teams.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading product development start to finish, including shipping customer-facing products, with the ability to drive prioritization consensus across business units and serve as an effective liaison between customers and engineering
  • Advanced project management and risk mitigation skills.
  • Unparalleled bias for action with an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or an advanced degree with 6+ years’ experience in Product Management, Product Marketing or Program Management.
  • Experience in delivering complex Tech projects involving multiple platforms
  • Experience in delivering systems at scale
  • A passion for metrics / analytics to deliver on business objectives
