Job Profile :

The principal responsibility of the Business Analysis job category is to manage the analysis of processes in HSBC and to oversee and manage all or some of the associated activities during change implementation.

The role holder may be located in a variety of areas of HSBC, they may be located in projects as well as in established BAU teams.

It is possible that the Business Analyst may work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Business Analysis roles may have reports.

Responsibilities will include some or all of the following :

The candidate is expected to be an expert in Finance domain, Claims settlement etc. In general candidate should have exposure to , Corporate Actions, SQL, Front / Middle and Back Office systems and post trade activities.

Captures, analyses and documents, elicits the business process & requirements for change the bank projects or small enhancements

Act as front face of IT to Business & vice versa in Agile continous delivery envoirnment

Assures delivery through the entire life-cycle of the project of user requirements through to live

Perform feasibility & efforts analysis of requirements in retail products domain

Proposes the solution or change interventions and supports architect to ensure robostness of solution

Supports the Product Owner to evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog

Works within Medium sized and medium complexity Technology projects - these may span across multiple business units / Line of business and / or geographies

Creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality

Guides the Agile Team performance and outcome metrics as required

Works with stakeholder to ensure that the lead time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarksappropriately across other functions within the DevOps team.

Manages the tracking and documenting progress and managing status reporting

Assists in the implementation of solutions & performing user testing & validations

Performs role of Business Analysis in areascovering Credit Bureau Services (AECB), Decision Systems, Collections and Loans Systems

Experience & Qualifications :

At least 10 years of experience of working in IT or business area

Should be hands on and ready to work as an individual contributor.

Should be ready to work in a DevOps based Agile POD, where the person might have to work as Tester.

Proficiency in the Customer Group business strategy, process, and / or internal procedures

Good command of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication aptitude

Strong people leadership, team work, gathering information and analysing, judgment and decision making skills.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills; ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information.
