OBJECTIVE

The Regional Sales Manager Neuromodulation leads, manages, coordinates the LivaNova strategy and contributes to the success of the business in the assigned country / geography.

The Regional Sales Manager has the strategic vision on how to develop the LivaNova business in the assigned country and, at the same time, is focused on driving the right balance between the local needs along with aligning to the Regional needs representing us as one LivaNova.

ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will incorporate but not be limited to the following :

  • Achieve all LivaNova sales objectives : orders, revenue, contribution margin, customer satisfaction & retention while staying within allocated base cost budget
  • Help in the Development of a comprehensive knowledge base of VNS Therapy, its uses, therapy areas & the market place to build credibility towards customers;
  • Help to identify, visit and develop new accounts, physicians, surgeons, neurologists, and nurses that have the potential to implant or to refer patients for implant;
  • Liaise with Patient Support groups and all relevant governmental bodies within your territory to foster awareness of the VNS therapy and to ensure reimbursement continuity and optimization of reimbursement;
  • Organize and attend training and meetings with health care professionals to enhance the knowledge of the VNS for Epilepsy and to ensure optimal treatment is provided;
  • Manage all the operations in the assigned country taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets
  • Successfully manage and collaborate with internal stakeholders both from Sales / Marketing & Operations making sure that the vision is aligned to the company's development plan in the assigned country
  • Support the organizational development through an inclusive approach, being able to lead the existing local sales team to achieve stretched targets
  • Demonstrate unbending ethical behavior and instilled a strong compliance throughout the organization by systems and walking the talk, ensuring knowledge of compliance and its company policies
  • Manage the Government relations in the country and interact with KOLs
  • Produce business performance reports on a monthly basis
  • Act as a primary customer point of contact and represent one LivaNova
  • Actively identify & drive boundary less selling opportunities within the assigned territory / country
  • Promote, identify and escalate commercial service needs
  • Attract, retain, train, and develop world-class employees
  • Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities. Provide on-going feedback to management
  • Develop programs to gather regional evidence of customer success, early adopters, show sites, and clinical evidence where appropriate
  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS :

  • This position will require extensive business travel of minimum 2 3 days per week.
  • R EQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated success in sales;
  • Demonstrated management of a sales team
  • Selling experience in a medical field is a plus, preferably in a consultative role (e.g. Neuroscience Sales, HIV Sales, Oncology Sales, Diabetes Nurse Educators), where daily accountabilities are established, measured and rewarded.
