Job Purpose : -

Act as an SAP Subject Matter Expert in Close and Control (RTR) function, govern changes to the SAP C&C templates. Supports all SAP related BAU projects by providing insight on t codes, SAP Table change requirements.

Assess the changes and the impact of new changes required in SAP to support the business requirements. Act as an interface between business and Tech for the changes to the C&C landscape.

The role is also responsible for owning the C&C master data objects like Cost Centre, WBS, GL accounts and the relevant master data tables

Act as a Cadency Subject Matter Expertise and enabling business to improve the process efficiency. Identify and support implementation of new system functionalities.

Functional Scope : All GSK finance organisations operating these processes

Key Responsibilities : -

With-in a narrow sub-set of C&C processes

SAP - Understand the upstream business reporting changes (In BISON) and analyze the impact on CERPS (SAP) Identify and Initiate the SAP system changes required and highlight any risks Support Team by providing the expert opinion on how C&C SAP Tables operate Support Team by providing inputs on t-codes Own C&C Master data objects Liase with cross functional Teams like MDM’s, SAP Tech Team Raise STP’s and VPP to initiate the change Act as SAP Template owner for Master Data objects like Cost Centre, GL, WBS Work with MDM’s and formulate data quality rules Support BAU projects and roadmap projects

Cadency - Act as a System expert for Cadency Modules like, Journals, BSR, Close and Compliance Lead / Support quarterly Reviews of DAR Lead / Support quarterly Statutory and SOX Audits Leverage existing functionalities in the Tool and provide support in leading the implementation of new functions Support System upgrades / patches Collaborate with Tech Team, Trintec and analyze the impact of any system change Support BAU projects and roadmap projects

Knowledge / Education Required : -

Minimum Level of Education Required -

Accounting degree or post duration in management with an accounting degree

Area of Specialization : -

  • Understanding of any Reconciliation tools
  • Experience of Finance Process Transformation
  • Sound understanding of SAP
  • Preferred Level of Education - Accounting degree or post duration in management with an accounting degree

  • Previous Experience Required : -

    Finance professional with C&C experience

  • Fluency in finance processes e.g. worked on this process in another organisation
  • Experience in transformation and / or change programmes
  • Experience of process optimisation and mapping
  • Operating SAP for this process
  • Ability to coordinate several activities at once, quickly analyse and resolve specific problems
  • Ability to manage tasks, work independently, and proceed with objectives with some supervision
