GCB : 4 Location : Job Description

  • Coordinate incident recovery activities for Service Impacting issue
  • Engage IMT to get an incident manager assigned
  • Provide direction to engage teams such ITID, SQMs, Pods and non CMB IT support teams.
  • Monitor RTC / Qlikview Dashboards to ensure tickets are being progressed by the Ops Engineer as per SLAs
  • Issue CMB Heads-up communication
  • Business stakeholder management
  • Manage all user-wide communications (e.g. Flash Alerts). This also includes follow-up communications / updates and fielding any queries arising.
  • Acts as real time incident escalation point for the Triage / DevOps team / POD
  • Ensures bi-directional feedback between DevOps PODS teams and Triage teams to share knowledge and working practices.
  • Responsible for monitoring Triage team activities are compliant with the Triage control framework and owning the efficient remediation of breaches
  • Keeping the team members motivated and aligned in their work and ensuring quality results at each step within the support scope.

  • Drive operations and best practices. Adhere to governance frameworks. Manage risks, issues and dependencies. Create an environment which anticipates risk, ensuring action is taken to quantify and mitigate them.
  • Demonstrate agility to respond to customers’ needs. Show clear understanding of the customer’s global distributed requirements.

  • Must demonstrate, collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate / integrate within the Service Management processes, and feedback through Service Management Practice.
  • Will ordinarily support across a single Triage team, and across multiple Pod’s within the DevOps team.
  • Role will have global responsibility, often supporting multiple Global Businesses, due to the shared usage of many services.

  • Strong experience within IT in a large geographically dispersed organization, with experience of leading individuals within a matrix organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
