10Y Sr BA or Product Owner from EBI

Job Description

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with multiple teams spanning across multiple functions IT Development, EST, and Support TPMs and business partners to develop our strategy, and create solutions to our business and customer problems.

You will also work directly with cross functional, geographically distributed development teams to turn the strategy into a reality and provide valuable products to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Sets, prioritizes and manages the Product Backlog
  • Along with the Product Manager, performs Release Planning
  • Writes User Stories
  • Prioritizes features with stakeholder needs, sequence stories based on Business Value
  • Ensures Criteria for Story States are met.
  • Ultimate arbiter on product backlog Makes tradeoff decisions related to time, budget, and scope
  • Negotiates acceptance criteria for work results accepts rejects work of the team
  • Leads User Experience engagement ensure UI meets functional need
  • Peer Reviews Product Backlogs and Stories for interlock teams when applicable
  • Characteristics Direction, Planning, Independence, Initiative

  • Has Good communication skills
  • Always available to the team
  • Understands what needs to be built domain app
  • Ability and authority to make decisions
  • A broad viewpoint
  • Willingness to own and drive the product backlog to logical closure obtain consensus from all the required stake holders.
  • Qualifications

  • 8 years working in a similar business analysis role within a similar or related environment
  • Experience in large scale Software Development with a strong preference for Data Warehouse Analytics is a must
  • Exposure multiple database systems, and strong database querying SQL skill
  • Strong background in Software Methodologies especially in Business requirements and process modeling
  • Excellent Communications skills and proven consensus building skills
  • Experience with Agile Development environments is a must
  • Enterprise work experience dealing with highly complex situations is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage change and engage team members
  • Proven ability to provide direction and leadership to others
  • Advanced facilitation and communication skills
