The Horizon Datastore team is responsible for driving growth, managing capacity and driving down the operational challenges of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure business with data driven insights from telemetry and business data sources. The Horizon Datastore built on Oracle Cloud Technologies such as Autonomous Data Warehouse and Oracle Analytics Cloud.

We are looking for a Director, Development with a proven record of managing medium to large size product development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for the development efforts for Oracle Data Integration Service and Oracle Data Migration cloud services. Oracle is a market leader in the data integration space and we are aggressively investing in the next generation data integration application and services to cater to volume and scale of the current and future generation. Your technical and project management skills will be very critical to manage the product development work. You will also be responsible for building a world class development organization by hiring and nurturing top talent in the industry.

Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
