Currently we are searching for a Director of Systems Software Engineering to serve in a technical leadership role in our Hyderabad center of excellence.

This position will work closely and support other global technical leaders in the establishment and evolution of the Hyderabad center of excellence.

This position will also lead application development and support teams developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise systems that support TTEC corporate and contact center associates globally.

  • Liaison and provide executive support to other global technical leaders on team startup, transition activities, and ongoing activities to aide in the evolution of the center.
  • Establish working relationships with resource functions (talent acquisition, HR, facilities, etc.) to support the evolution of technical teams in the center
  • Provide management insight and reporting on the overall status of the center for technical teams.
  • Manage teams of developers designing and implementing new functionality, as well as improving and supporting existing enterprise solutions
  • Participate in strategic planning and management for resources, environments and releases
  • Own scheduling and on-time delivery of features throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Work across engineering, operations, and business partner teams to deliver highly scalable and reliable employee and customer experience services
  • Architect and deliver a strong development process that ensures high quality and business agility
  • Provide timely and appropriate communication to business owners, stakeholders, and users on issue status and resolution
  • Participate in the definition and promotion of engineering best practices within the organization in collaboration with other development resources
  • What you’ll need to be successful

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, MS preferred
  • 10+ years of overall technology experience in a software development role and a deep knowledge of software development methodologies with emphasis on Agile experience
  • 5+ years in a management role, leading software engineering teams; Strong architecture, design, and implementation skills with a strong coding background in object oriented languages (e.g. C
