Data & Analytics CoE is a diverse team of technology enthusiast enabling our global business. JCI has embarked on a Data strategy that focuses on establishing strong technology CoE, enterprise data management & cloud based business solutions.

Technical Architect across (Ingestion / Data Science / Visualization) is an integral part of Technical Architecture team.

This role will be based out of India, reporting into Architect - Data & Analytics.

This role will be responsible for creating Data orchestration with Azure Data Factory Pipelines & Dataflows. Using advanced analytics and visualizations to deliver insights to the business.

Key role is to understand the business requirements and implement the requirements using Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Azure Devops and Power BI utilizing & enriching our framework.

How you will do it

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop analytical insights, propensity models, and success criteria that will help drive better understanding of the business.
  • Identify open opportunities to use current data science and AI / ML technologies to solve complex business problems.
  • Designing and training models for tasks such as but not limited to object detection, natural language processing, classification, entity resolution and anomaly detection.
  • Understand business requirement and actively provide inputs from Data perspective
  • Understand the underlying data and flow of data
  • Build simple to complex pipelines & dataflows via our framework
  • Ensure documentation of analysis methodologies / results and educate users on leveraging data.
  • What we look for

  • Bachelor of Science degree and / or Masters in Software Engineering / Computer Science or an equivalent discipline
  • 7 9 yrs of hands on experience using various development methodologies to deliver robust PaaS and DaaS based analytics solutions using Azure Cloud technologies Azure Data Factory, HD Insights, Azure Data bricks, SSIS, Azure ML, Synapse and Azure devops.
  • Strong knowledge of Hadoop, MPP Data platform, Power BI and Open source technologies, Azure Analysis Service, DAX, and Advanced Cube design techniques
  • Excellent data analytical and programming skills especially with R, Python, SQL, machine learning, docker and predictive analytics
  • Proficient in creating Data Factory pipelines for on-cloud ETL processing; copy activity, custom Azure development etc.
  • Working knowledge of implementing an end-to-end Machine Learning Pipeline

  • Essential Skills

  • Strong Leadership, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate technical solutions to business teams
  • Demonstrated experience leading and influencing individuals and teams without formal organizational control
  • Understanding trends, new concepts, industry standards and new technologies in Data and Analytics space
  • Ability to work with global distributed teams
