Job Summary
The Supply Chain Finance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the SCF Team and tasks in Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting and Cost & Inventory processes.
Main Responsibilities :
Service & Internal Controls Assurance :
Ensure accurate and on-time service delivery by team following SLAs and process governance tools
Regularly review SOX / Internal controls compliances in team with proper documentation and promptly remediate any discrepancy observed
Engage with business for resolution of escalated queries / issues at local, regional and global level - ensuring no repeat issues
Proactively plan with team and relevant stakeholders for major milestone service deliveries like Month-end / Year-end closing, Quarterly costing, etc
Review and validate ad hoc requests received from business and guide teams for action
Review existing SOBPs for changes on an ongoing basis and ensure they are up to date
Develop analysis and insights from business data to support business leaders make informed decisions
Projects & Continuous Improvements
Assess the impact of new Global projects on the current process and receive buy-in from business on process changes
Engage with Business Partners and IT to explore and implement solutions for improvements
Drive teams for continuous improvement and implement simplification and standardization projects within division / region
Delivery efficiency targets
People Enablement
Assign and Assess performance KPI's, Individual Objectives and plan for successions in the team
Lead and facilitate functional learning and onboarding processes within team and across function
Developing back-up among resources within team
Provide on-going coaching and feedback to team
Proactively support development and implementation of CDP action items for the team for talent development
Provide opportunities and participate actively for collaborative learning and team building
Develop and support coaching culture
Required Qualifications (Education, Knowledge Required, Skills)
10+ years of experience in similar role
3+ years of experience of team handling experience
Knowledge of SOX, US GAAP, IFRS, Indian AS
Proficient in SAP - FI / CO / PA / MM modules, Advanced Excel & Google Sheets, BI Reporting platforms,
Deep experience in Costing, Inventory and Fixed Assets processes
Comfortable with managing and analyzing large data and developing visualization in Slides (or other tools like DataStudio)
Prior experience in handling teams and people management including business engagement across virtual platforms
