The Enterprise Services Computeand Connectivity Platform Organization designs,implements and operates a state-of-the-art Information Systems Infrastructureserving around 110,000 employees, in over 900 locations across 65 pluscountries.

The CCP ManageSr System Administrator will be responsible for operational support of Windows ServerInfrastructure, hardening and architecture for >

15,000 servers at Honeywell.You will work in Windows & Linux Server Architecture & Administration(Windows 2019 / 2016 / 2012 Operating Systems & *NIX) This role includes applicationrationalization components to best assist business teams on migration, upgradesor decommissioning of legacy Infrastructure.

This role will be responsible forinstalling and troubleshooting Windows based applications and assisting withAutomation activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Operational support on a rotational basis of >

15,000 server

Accountable for technology roadmaps related to virtualization technologies, APIs, automation and cloud adoption

Work with Hyper Converged Infrastructure technology platforms like Nutanix, Dell VXRail, Dell VRTX, Dell Flex OS to create the strategy / direction for enterprise infrastructure

Troubleshoot performance issues related to virtualized workloads

Facilitate moving of workloads to / from on-prem cloud to off-prem cloud

Participate in calls with other members to address and troubleshoot application and or infrastructure related issues

YOU MUST HAVE

A bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business-Related Discipline

Experience in managing Windows & Linux operating systems

8 years of experience in operational support of enterprise server ecosystem

Experience with ServiceNow or another similar formal Service Management platform and / or methodology

Possess strong knowledge on Windows Server 2016 / 2012 OS

Strong knowledge of Server automation activities (CHEF, Powershell,or other)

Certification on Windows Server 2016 / 2012 Administration is a plus

DevOps experience is a plus

The ability to be a change agent and promote positive change in the organization

Excellent oral, written and collaborative communication skills, including executive level communications

The ability to partner effectively across IT teams, suppliers and business customers on cross-functional projects and process improvements

Windows patching tools like Ivanti & WSUS and Windows security standards & OS Hardening concepts are needed.

Strong interpersonal skills - effective listening and teaming

Self-motivated, demonstrated bias for action

Skilled in partnering with internal customers at all levels to define problems, identify solutions, and facilitate change

If not where have been accountable for success of a deployment into Operations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or technical related field. 5 years experience in Windows Server Administration (Windows 2012 / 2008 Operating Systems).
  • Experience supporting IT Operations.

  • 5 years experience in managing Window Server & DC operations
  • Possess strong knowledge on Windows Server 2012 / 2008 OS
  • Strong knowledge on Windows Security & Patching tools
  • Certification on Windows Server 2012 / 2008 Administration
  • Knowledge in RCCA
  • Knowledge on FLEXLM based network license management tools.
