Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to lead DevOps team to facilitatebetter coordination among operations, development and testing functionsby automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes Do Drive technical solution support to the team to align oncontinuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technologyin applications Design and define the overall DevOps architecture / framework tofor a project / module delivery as per the client requirement Decide on the DevOps tool & platform and which needs to bedeployed aligned to the customer’s requirement Create a tool deployment model for validating, testing andmonitoring performance and align or provision for resources accordingly Define & manage the IT infrastructure as per the requirementof the supported software code Manage and drive the DevOps pipeline that supports theapplication life cycle across the DevOps toolchain fromplanning, coding and building, to testing, to staging, to release,configuration and monitoring Work with the team to tackle the coding and scripting needed toconnect elements of the code that are required to run the softwarerelease with operating systems and production infrastructure withminimum disruptions Ensure on boarding application configuration from planning torelease stage Integrate security in the entire dev-ops lifecycle to ensure nocyber risk and data privacy is maintained Provide customer support / service on the DevOps tools Timely support internal & external customers escalations onmultiple platforms Troubleshoot the various problems that arise in implementationof DevOps tools across the project / module Perform root cause analysis of major incidents / critical issueswhich may hamper project timeliness, quality or cost Develop alternate plans / solutions to be implemented as per rootcause analysis of critical problems Follow escalation matrix / process as soon as a resolution getscomplicated or isn’t resolved Provide knowledge transfer, sharing best practices with the teamand motivate Team Management Resourcing Forecast talent requirements as per the current and futurebusiness needs Hire adequate and right resources for the team Train direct reportees to make right recruitment and selectiondecisions Talent Management Ensure 100% compliance to Wipro’s standards of adequateonboarding and training for team members to enhance capability &effectiveness Build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their careerprogression within the organization Promote diversity in leadership positions Performance Management Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performancereviews and appraisals, and give constructive feedback to directreports.

Incase of performance issues, take necessary action with zerotolerance for will’ based performance issues Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxtarewellunderstood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented bysuch programs to their and their levels below Employee Satisfaction and Engagement Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to buildengagement within the team Proactively challenge the team with larger and enrichingprojects / initiatives for the organization or team Exercise employee recognition and appreciation Stakeholder Interaction Stakeholder Type Stakeholder Identification Purpose of Interaction Internal Project Manager Regular reporting & updates Application teams / owners, application developers, releasemanagers For end to end CI, CD & monitoring Talent Transformation Team, Competency Group Plan and support delivery of Technical Trainings, knowledgesharing External Clients Drive business growth and relationship management at seniorlevels through demonstration of Wipro’s technical differentiation Customers For using reference from the past cases Analysts / Advisors Drive market recognition and referencability, influence markettrends through technical thought leadership Display Lists the competencies required to perform this role effectively : Functional Competencies / Skill Systems Thinking Understanding of the Wipro system(interrelatedness, interdependencies and boundaries) and perform problemsolving in a complex environment - Expert Leveraging Technology In-depth knowledge of and masteryover technology domain that commands expert authority respect Master Solution Focus -
