JOB SUMMARY :
This role is for a mid-levelexperienced support personnel for SharePoint Online (SPO) service, with goodknowledge in SharePoint(both On-
Prem and Cloud). The individual will beproviding Level 3 Operational / Engineering support for areas involving SPO,with a good understanding of SPO and associated technologies viz, SharePointOn-
Prem, MS teams, ODB and other M365 services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB :
Good support knowledge and experience in providing 24 / 7support for SharePoint
Good knowledge in troubleshooting SharePoint end user / clientissues.
Good knowledge in SharePoint permissions, webparts, views andany other site level issues.
Expert knowledge in Incident management, Service requests,Change requests and ServiceNow processes for SP support.
Good knowledge on SharePoint support workflow, level 1, level2 and level 3. This role is for Level 3 support.
Capability to help customer to fix the issue and / or createtickets for Microsoft for further troubleshooting.
Good knowledge on PowerShell scripting and automationexperience using scripts.
Desirable - Knowledge in deploying SharePoint solutions,updating automation scripts and html pages.
ANALYTICAL / DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES :
Proactively anticipates service issues before they occur and able to make recommendations around resolution.
Proactively monitor outages within a small group or wider group.
Ability to convince customer on the deficiencies of the product and provide alternate solutions.
Proactively anticipate service issues before they occur and drive suggested changes to execution.
SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES :
This role does not have a direct supervision responsibility but should proactively own up tasks / issues and drive towards resolution independently.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Candidate must be flexible to the demands of the services we provide and any project to which they are assigned.
The role may require out of office hours work.
This role is for 24 / 7 support and requires working in night shift periodically.
JOB REQUIREMENTS : EDUCATION :
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
3-6 years of experience in support role with at least last 2-3 years in SharePoint support.
