Honeywell Building Solutions Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Home and Building Technologies (HBT) that installs building technology & systems to create a smart, safer, and more sustainable world.

HBS offerings and sales / project / service requirements are evolving in line with the internet of things (IoT), connectivity, digitization and collaboration through data integration platforms.

Position Summary : You will be responsible for leading the delivery of ICT and Cybersecurity services into the HBS Install and Service business across APAC (Pacific, Korea, ASEAN, HK / Macau).

This will include strengthening our ICT & Cybersecurity delivery capability, so we have the right people and skills to promote and deliver more connected, operational critical solutions to our customers, in a global consistent manner.

They will ensure global alignment and standardisation of installation and service methods, technology selection of hardware / software that regularly form part of Honeywell’s solutions to ensure we can execute effectively for our customers, reduce our risk, cycle times, variation, and cost to deliver / service.

This will also include identifying area’s where we can streamline operations by utilising digital deployment tools, and central / global ICT factory services.

The Digital Operations team will also be responsible for the delivery of Cybersecurity products and services in the respective region, in line with the HBS Buildings cybersecurity offering portfolio.

Key accountabilities include : You are the focal for ICT / Cyber for the region, leading the improvement of capability, and delivery and service execution, serving the Install and Projects LOBs.

You will work with Install and Service leadership teams to identify capability gaps, and actively hire additional ICT and Cyber professionals to support the correct sale, installation, and service of HBS solutions.

You will ensure only qualified ICT engineers are completing ICT engineering activities across Installation and Service, to the global standards and practices, enabling HBS to deliver consistently for its customers globally.

You will team up to enhance HBS ICT Engineering standards and qualification for products and applications that regularly form part of HBS’s Integrated Solutions to drive efficiencies and risk reduction across HBS install and service contracts.

You will establish and implement short-term and long-term strategies that support business growth, business efficiency and financial performance of HBS operations in the region.

Help us develop and grow, and rollout ICT / Cyber training programs to ensure our regional projects / service / engineering resources have the capability to correctly deliver and service configurations in accordance with HBS’s qualified standards and guidelines.

Take the lead on order to contribute to the development of global ICT / Cyber standards for systems implementation, including server configurations, security design principals and configuration, virtual deployments, network deployment requirements, security monitoring platforms, EBI / DVM / 3rdpartysystem hardening and backup & anti-

virus standards. Work with Pole procurement teams to develop global strategic partnerships with 3rd party suppliers whose products are integrated into our solutions (eg.

Dell, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, Veeam) and align with OEM license agreements to reduce our risk and cost to serve, whilst receiving the appropriate partner incentives, training and entitlements.

Conduct project and operational risk review and facilitate CAP approval process for highly complex or large value (>

$1m ICT scope) Integrated Technology bids in the Pole. Provide Secure Network and Cyber Security expertise to HBS Install, Service and Functional leadership as necessary to support key business decisions In conjunction with Pole Engineering Leaders, assess the ICT projects and service capabilities of the regional engineering teams, and identify areas for improvement in capabilities and resources.

Develop strong Honeywell executive relationships in a highly matrixed environment, across the businesses, other divisions and regions.

Provide enthusiastic, engaged leadership for team members (including direct and indirect reports) with a focus on professional development and team optimization Identify areas of innovation, technical perfection and standard methodologies through sharing internally (regionally and globally) and externally to facilitate HBS becoming the go-

to business for clients, star performers and employees. Identify, develop, and maintain strategic industry partnerships to strengthen Honeywell’s position, credibility and value proposition in the technology space.

Know your partners with the ability to engage, establish credibility, influence and negotiate at all levels including C-

level executives. Build productive customer relationships, developing sponsors for Honeywell, and continually seek and capitalise upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Actively promote Honeywell as an authority in ICT & Integrated Solutions and engage and create new relationships with customers and vendors through networking events and industry forums.

Keeps abreast of all relevant developments and innovations in the IT field and researches best in class standard methodology and ensure emerging technologies are correctly aligned with customer requirements and solution offering.

Provide feedback and liaise with product management to ensure HBS product portfolio is appropriate to the changing needs of current and new customers, and suits our regional market.

Identify strategic third party products and solutions which can complement our overall integrated solutions offerings and increase value offering.

  • Bachelors Degree inEngineering, Aerospace, Business Administration
  • Some experience in engineering
  • Understand of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers
  • Persuade to influence other to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
  • Business acumen knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry
  • Ability toconveysubtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
