Main Purpose of Job
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN AREAS OF WORK RESPONSIBILITIES)
1) General Work Related Duties
Setting territory targets in consultation with the respective regional business manager based on the Regional Sales Plan.
Also Operational planning for the way in which the sales targets can be achieved in their respective territory. These plans have to be in sync with the regional plans as discussed with the regional business managers
Carrying out the process of achieving sales by meeting with various farmers. Understanding the needs of the farmer on an individual level and providing them the requisite solutions.
Ensuring that the budgeted sales volumes and revenues are met with, so as to achieve business results. This is done through field visits, i.
e. visiting dealers, distributors, farmers, etc in one’s own territory and thus making the sales. Also achieving collections is a critical part of the job.
Carrying out field visits so as to meet with distributors and dealers and thus achieving sales by understanding their demands and providing appropriate solutions.
Also taking orders from them and coordinating the process with the respective administrative assistant.
Coordinate and manage the process of collections from the dealers and the distributors based on the outstanding and credit limit available to them.
Managing and training the Market Development Officers about how to carry out the field visits etc and thus providing them on the job training and sales skills for market development.

Carry out market research as per the need and requirement as intimated by the Regional Business Manager or NSM.
GENERAL JOB CHARACTERISTICS
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education
BSc or MSc or MBA in Agriculture
Experience 1 4 years in Sales or Marketing
Good inter personal skill
Proven track record of success and achievement.
Analytical & Strategic thinking.
Proactive Hard working Resilient Sales Attitude
