About the role
Media Planning Managers are responsible for analyzing data, thinking creatively and dreaming up innovative strategies to make sure marketing campaigns reach the right target audience in the most effective way possible.
Armed with this critical analysis, media planning managers devise, propose, or recommend strategies for using certain media effectively to attract and retain customers, increase brand recognition, and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

This role reports to the Business Group Head.

In three months :
You will start working on client specific reports and learn to use various industry & proprietary studies from a media owner perspective

Responsibilities of the role :
Ensure that approved contract deliverables are created and sent as per the engagement calendar
Address all day-to-day ad hoc queries from the client
Arrive at actionable solutions using secondary data analysis (BARC / IRS / RAM / TAM / TGI / groupM tools etc) and by drawing upon media planning experience.
Collate knowledge from different groupM agencies & trading teams
To provide quality analysis with action points for category competitive reports for clients
To provide mid-campaign evaluation and take corrective action as required to ensure that campaign deliverables are met
To alert client timely if there is likely to be a campaign delivery shortfall and take course corrective action in alignment with client
What you will need :
3-5 years of media experience with a mix of media planning / buying / research or channel strategy / insights experience
Strong media software expertise BARC / TAM, IRS, MAP, TGI, Comscore, RAM etc.
Attention to detail : ability to spot trends and provide compelling insights through data analysis
Strong functional media knowledge with ability to consider media issues from a media-owner perspective; being updated with broad media trends
Ability to interact with people from a wide cross-section to get pertinent information
