Position Summary

The Program Coordinator’s main focus is to improve the social structure of the society and help the weak and underprivileged people of the community.

He / She should be able to contribute for the upliftment of the poor and oppressed through e-education. The profile includes strategy and planning, collaborative partnership, project design and day to day operations.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implementproject that align with the organization’s mission and support the organization’s goals
  • Support planning and co-ordination of a project and its activities.
  • Ensure implementation of policies and practices
  • Coordinate community survey and maintaining survey records
  • Mobilization and Finalization of team member to be appointed for the project
  • Monitor project budget and track the expenditure / transaction
  • Manage good communication among the team members
  • Help build positive relations within the team and external members
  • Schedule and organize monthly meetings / events and maintain the agenda
  • Keep updated records and create bi-weekly / monthly reports for the program
  • Monthly visit to the schools / centers assigned
  • Keep a check on timeline and maintain targets to reach the goals
  • Resolve operational related challenges if any
  • Conduct and arrange capacity building (trainings) for the team
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the project on the ground
  • Help with other administrative and operational tasks as needed
  • Build relationship with different stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel to surrounding areas
  • Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social work or in any discipline
  • Knowledge of program operations and development procedures
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and should be proactive
  • Knowledge of budgeting, book keeping and reporting
  • Tech-savy, proficient in MS office
  • Ability to work with diversity and different capabilities of team. To support and motivate others
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Detail- oriented and efficient
  • Knowledge of the local language
  • Empathetic to others’ views and needs
  • Proven experience of 3-5 years as program co-ordinator or relevant position
