Traditional Trade Reinvention (TTR) is one of the most strategic programs in NielsenIQ. Today the majority of the data collection in Traditional Trade channels happen manually, where an auditor visits the store & spends a few hours to a few days to collect data that gets used for the retail measurement products.
Goal is to ensure this manual collection is converted to a digital data source through partnerships with POS hardware & software companies, payment gateways, data aggregators etc.
where the data starts coming directly from their system.
This role is responsible for working with the Global Data Strategy leader to drive the overall TTR Data Strategy roadmap for Asia.
So this is a very critical role since this acts as a strategic enabler between the Data Partnership Lead who is hunting for POS vendors & the TTR Product Leadership
This is a regional role & requires strong strategic & out of box thinking. This role will be responsible to work closely with the Data Partnership Leads in Asia and enable them with all support needed to close the deals like- coming up with right partner offering, support in negotiations, create & track the hunting roadmap for the country, other peripheral support like in terms of contract templates, business case support etc.
Strong strategic acumen & someone who is very comfortable working across stakeholders to drive the end objective of the team.
Ideal fit will be someone who is curious & always looking for opportunities to come up with solutions that take us a level higher each time
3-5 years of experience in sales & business development
Operates well with stakeholders across teams. Is a great team player
Ideally from FMCG or Retail background, if not then 2nd choice will be folks from Retail Tech or SaaS background
Operates independently, while knowing when & how to escalate for support
Great communication skills, out of box thinker, someone who is great at clearing roadblocks by establishing good relationships across internal teams
Is confident directly working with Band 2 & 3 level leaders within the company
Collaborative & operates well in slightly unstructured team that is in evolution stage right now
