As an Engineer, youwill be working Hydraulics system installation on HMS and incumbent will havethe opportunity to direct and contribute to the concept, development, anddesign of complex components, subsystems, or processes while strengthening youranalytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts.

Incumbent will partnerwith and provide technical guidance to global teams. Incumbent will contributeto the planning and delivery of projects, continually learn and stay abreast ofinnovative technology, mentor and coach team members, and broaden yourprofessional network.

You will lead NPI projects, responsible to deliver PQVC targets(People, Quality, Velocity & Cost), Maintain the Product Health throughresolving 12MIS / 2MIS - CPI issues, will be involved in regional supplierdevelopment, build support and support aftermarket / mine site services.

Skills / Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

  • Perform Hose / Tube design, Mounting structures / brackets design (capableto do complex design in Creo). Must to have hands on iron experience with thesecomponents.
  • Perform hyd. Components placement by checking the layout of the wholemachine along with an understanding of the hydraulic system / schematic andcreate concepts to further evaluate and select.
  • Strong knowledge in hose / tube assembly routing, material propertiesand hose fittings.
  • Ability to provide detailed interpretation of hydraulic schematics andtroubleshoot on machine hydraulic systems.
  • Actively support a prototype, pilot, or production build andon-machine hydraulic system test.
  • Validate hydraulics components selection & sizing.
  • Perform bolted joint analysis & Creo simulate or equivalent FEAanalysis.
  • Effectively apply design related Advanced Product Quality Planning(APQP) steps
  • Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, engineeringdrawings, manufacturing processes and Machine Bill of Material (BOM).
  • Performs design calculations and accountable for design decisions.
  • Research and develop new technology
  • Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas. Evaluate new products,processes, or systems.
  • Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and otherbusiness units
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MechanicalEngineering or equivalent
  • Relevant work experience required : 10-13 years with Bachelor Degree or 7-9years with Master Degree or 3+ years with Doctorate Degree
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
  • Top Candidates Will Also Have :

  • Strong project management skills Developing, maintaining andexecuting to a project management plan. Ability to develop & leverage aglobal network of engineering resources.
  • Active participation in a Technical Society (SAE, IEEE etc.)
  • 6 Sigma Black Belt & PMP Certified
  • Experience in completion of full NPI program startto finish with focused responsibility on hydraulic integration and participatedin iron validation at mine site or proving ground.
  • Prior build supportexperience resolving hydraulic integration issues.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
  • 0 - 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
