Job Description :
Medline India has animmediate opening for a SAP Systems Administrator. This person is responsiblefor SAP solution lifecycle management and for ensuring the performance andreliability of SAP and other enterprise systems.
He / She will work with various other IS teamsto establish the infrastructure standards and requirements for proper operationof SAP systems and landscapes and will provide the highest level of technicalexpertise and consulting on SAP platforms.
This person will work withfunctional and technical teams to identify, install, configure, support, anddocument SAP and related solutions to meet business objectives.
This mayinclude landscape planning, hardware sizing, feasibility assessments, and newproduct research.
Some of the responsibilities are :
Installing, configuring, monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting the SAP technicalenvironment on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAPtransport system.
Administer thesystems, including security maintenance, patches, and printing, performance,and transport management.
Lead Customer business teamthrough Requirements gathering, present SAP landscape Solution based on SAPBest Business Practices.
Monitor the landscapeand notify and work with functional and technical teams to resolve issuesidentified both internally and as reported by users.
Participate inprojects to implement and / or enhance SAP systems and applications and work withtechnical and development teams to define user requirements, coordinatesystem-
wide updates and install upgrades and patches.
Providerecommendations for enhancements / changes that may involve custom design,optional and / or third party products to improve the efficiency andeffectiveness of the landscape.
Security dutiesinclude identifying and resolving security issues and performing user profilemanagement, creating and updating access permissions and maintaining useraccounts.
Monitor and maintainperformance metrics for system features and recommends and takescorrective / preventive actions on those metrics.
Participate in thedesign, development and implementation of test and production objects.
Perform configuration,change management and testing activities as required.
Consult with users ontechnology changes that will impact work processes.
Participate in On-Callduties as required.

10+years experience with SAP systems landscape management (BASIS).
Expertknowledge in managementof the SAP environment includingNet weaver, PI, BW, ECC, SCM, Enterprise Portals, Solution Manager and inhandling ABAP & JAVA Stacks.
Handson experience on HANA Installation, migration and administration ofSAP HANA system integration within an SAP Landscape.
Role covers HANA Security,HANA SLT Configuration, Suite on HANA and BW on HANA Migrations, HANA SystemMonitoring, HANA Install & Config, Health Check, and Monitoring.
Experiencehandling at least 2 implementation and Upgrade projects desirable.
Soundknowledge of SAP Security / Authorizations.
Preferredexperience with running SAP on Oracle databases.
Solaris / UNIXand Linux application servers.
Excellentwritten and oral communication skills.
