We are looking to create a best of breed open source DevOPS platform with an associated agile Development process. You will need to be technically brilliant, commercially savvy with excellent communication skills.
You Will be working to select, combine, adapt and tune existing best-of-breed Open Source software components as a combination of Application Development and Application Management.
New software will be created as required to meet customer requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
Experience with automation / configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
Strong experience with SQL and NOSQL databases.
A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and / or Ruby)
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Implementing integrations requested
Perform root cause analysis for production errors
Develop scripts to automate visualization.
Strong Knowledge of ELastic search Stack.
Strong knowlege of devops scripting languages Java Scripts / Go / Python / Ruby / C / C++.
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring (Core, MVC, JDBC), Hibernate / JDBC / JPA / ORM, JSON
Experience with SQL Server, MYSQL and SQL scripts
Experience with development and consumption of secure web services.
Experience with XSLT, XML, XML Security Standards
Experience in Agile development methodology and Scrum
Experience in working with Confluence, JIRA, Crucible or similar tools
Knowledge of agile process, Scrum, and Continuous Integration (CI)
Explore up-and-coming technologies and software products
seize learning and knowledge sharing opportunities
Exposure to work in DevOps or Agile (Scrum) delivery teams
Experience in Tomcat, Apache, Weblogic
Responsible for optimization and automation of activities such as test, build, deployment, and production management
You will be required to build a dev ops practice, define best practices
You will interact closely with Business Analysts and Developers in the group and will be expected to share tasks with these roles as part of a highly-
productive and cross-functional Scrum team.
Basic O / S system administration is required, with a sufficient level of proficiency in file system operations, shell scripting, etc.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
