As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications.
Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs.
Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

The Analytics products we build are around data warehousing and real time analytics on transactional systems. These products have an important role to play in providing an analytical capabilities for end users and useful insights into their data sourced from the other Utilities enterprise applications.

As part of the Analytics development you will be responsible for requirements analysis, designs and prototypes, coding and implementation, bug fixing and testing in product releases and post release customer support as needed.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements :
Analytics development would involve work in various domains ranging from developing automation components for ETL development, build generation and deployment, OBIEE reports development, automation of various processes.
As part of the overall quality, you will be responsible for end-to-end technical and functional testing of the earlier mentioned development pieces.
It would also involve development test automation components for various scenarios. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the documentation teams for reviewing the documentation for technical accuracy and helping them understand the features.
Apart from this you will also be responsible for design and development of enhancements for existing on premise implementations running Oracle Utilities Analytics product.
You are expected to be very hands on and an excellent team player with good oral and written communication skills. You are expected to be a self-driven and goal oriented person.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.
