Your responsibilities Line management of a team of business and technical consultants; Mentor team members in terms of the professional services practice, as well as organisational processes and procedures;
Achieve profitability targets from Professional Services team by delivering projects on time and on budget; Work with the senior management team to ensure that growth projections are reflected in recruitment and training programs and manage growth in a consistent manner to meet utilization objectives;
Accountability for all Professional Service manpower and financial forecasting, be it for budget or for monthly forecasting process purposes;
Manage resource allocation across all projects, ensuring maximum utilization rates (target 70 PERCENT ) whilst fully satisfying customer needs and contractual obligations;
Responsibility for project delivery against contractual commitments; Support the local sales teams by providing pre-sales support related to professional services and ensure that project estimations are well founded and acceptable within the sales process;
Assume the role of Wolters Kluwer Financial Services management representation for Professional Services to all clients.
This will entail responsibilities such as being the local management contact for clients, participant in client steering committees and first port of call for major project issues raised by customers;
Report status of PS activities to the Director Professional Services EMEA on a set schedule basis, according to the set processes;
Apply standard project management processes, procedures and documentation to all projects, and assuring compliance to these by the teams.
Accountable for the invoicing process and debt collections process for the Southern of Europe for all Professional Services activity Qualifications and Skillset Education Master degree (or higher) in IT, business or financial areas.
PMP preferred. Experience and knowledge Minimum 8 years of combined experience in project management, preferably in IT and financial sectors Experience of working with IT systems and implementations Ability to work with customers at a senior management level across different cultural backgrounds Proven ability to deliver successfully on time and within budget Fluency in English is mandatory Strong knowledge of banking, risk management or compliance Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Personality / Personal traits Responsible, methodical and organised Self-learner Assertive, being able to make correct decisions based on personal judgement Team player Strong problem solving Good presentation skills Energetic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
