O365 / SharePoint Administrator L2
Micron Technology is aiming to implement an excellent SharePoint and O365 support team. As an O365 / SharePoint L2 Administrator you will be part of a team formed to provide frontline and advanced support for SharePoint and O365 Users. Job Overview
O365 / SharePoint Administrators provide day-to-day technical support for configuration, restrictions, and use of O365 products, including on-
premise SharePoint 2016 environments. Demonstrates expertise as a O365 and SharePoint administrator. Demonstrates good knowledge of the various O365 services, features and capabilities (SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams, Project Online, Planner, To-
Do, etc.). Responsible for working directly with end users to resolve escalations. Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is responsible for providing elevated level of support for SharePoint and O365 users. Address any service interruption and take steps to re-
initiate service or properly escalate for resolution. Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Work and tasks are often straightforward, routine, structured and guided by established policies and procedures. Some independent judgment is required, including making basic choices in the selection and application of established methods.
Decisions can have minimal or no impact. Errors can be readily detected, usually by the employee, and, if made, would result in minor expense for correction.
Solid administration and analytical skills focused on Office 365 and SharePoint 2016
Provide SharePoint and O365 support to end users.
Work with customers to educate and help them understand the tools
Knowledge and Experience in MS Teams, OneDrive, MS Streams, MS Planner, MS Flow, Power BI, Power Apps, Project Online and other MS Suite tools.
Participate in meetings around Office 365 changes MS releases around each Office 365 product including SharePoint, and the O365 suite to include Stream, Teams, etc.
Assist with documenting existing workflows and requirements for process changes and / or SharePoint sites
Configuring SharePoint templates to create sites to support requirements
Managing permissions to access SharePoint sites and other O365 content
Assist with managing configurations of Teams sites and channels
Other tasks as outlined by the O365 Administrator.
Experience with O365 Admin Console and other administration third-party tools (ShareGate, ControlPoint, AvePoint, etc)
Knowledge and experience using IT Infrastructure monitoring tools, i.e. Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
Manage site quotas and content database limits
Familiar with site administration and management
Provides SharePoint support and guidance to end users
Knowledge and experience using PowerShell, and / or other scripting tools
Knowledge of browsers (IE, Edge, Chrome, etc.) and how they relate to O365 services.

Able to support individuals using different communication methods (phone, email, instant messaging)

Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in a related field.
Job related certifications preferably Microsoft Certifications.
