Conversational AI Expert

The position is for the role of Senior AI Expert in Conversational AI within Emerging technologies Center of Excellence.

We develop and provide the competencies and the platforms needed to enter this new technical era.

As an Artificial Intelligence Specialist at AI / ML CoE, you will team up with business stakeholders to prioritize innovation ideas and work with other data scientists to develop and deliver breakthrough solutions.

You will work with a highly innovative and vibrant team of AI Specialist / Data Scientists across geographical sites in developing the next generation AI / ML enabled solutions for Volvo.

You will apply your analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies knowledge to create foundations for the next generation of smart and cloud-connected platform and services.

With great freedom to innovate, you will play a leading role in world-class research that will drive the future of Volvo’s artificial intelligence and machine learning.

In addition, you will coach, mentor, and guide Volvo AI ML Community / Enthusiasts to help them excel and advance their career development.

Minimum Years of Experience Required

5+ Years of hands on experience as AI Expery ( Conversational AI ) in Mandatory Skillsets.

Required Competencies

Mandatory Technical Skills :

Specialised in creating and enhancing scalable, interactive text / audio / visual based chatbots using c# .net.

Strong object-oriented programming concepts using C# .Net

Expert in creating Full lifecycle chatbot application development using multiple LUIS models, QnA models and custom NLP models

Expert on Microsoft bot framework version 3.0 , with a minimum of 5+ years of real use case development experience using the same

Expert on Microsoft bot framework version 4.0 , with a minimum of 2+ years of real use case development experience using the same

Expert in state of the art chatbot conversational UI features development

Has developed complex chatbots use cases using bot framework and external third-party API integrations such as Service Now integration, SharePoint Integration etc

Experience on fully featured and more natural bot development with language translations, Audio based bots and integration with other cognitive services

Good knowledge on custom text based NLP model development for user intent detection

Experience in developing / deploying both online / offline chatbots on web, windows and mobile (Android & IOS) platform

Experience on managing user conversation analytics on cloud using Azure storage (Cosmos DB, SQL) and retraining the chatbot

Have implemented Chatbots for various channels Direct Line, Webchat etc

Hands on citizen development tools like power virtual agents, Composer

Knowledge on other cloud / open source chatbot development platforms RASA Stack, Chatterbot, Google Dialogflow, AWS Lex etc

Good to have Technical Skills :

Familiarity Azure Devops, GIT

Excellent communication skills verbal, written and presentation skill

Creative and dynamic thinker

Independent , Self Driven, and Takes Ownership to drive deliveries

Ability to technically guide and support team members within area of responsibility

Ability to Train, Coach and Mentor team members.

Job Responsibilities

Develop solutions in AI & ML for business use-cases as specified by key stakeholders and help in industrializing them.

Analyze and understand customer problems and issues to convert these insights into system requirements. Conduct technical discussions with stakeholders

Identify the best approach / algorithms to solve a given use case, visualize data to draw insights.

Identify the best approach / algorithms to solve a given use case

Prototype algorithms using Python and / or other languages with appropriate libraries and frameworks

Develop new ideas into AI / ML driven products

Present innovative technical solutions at workshops, and AI community

Continuous research to stay updated with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science tools & solutions

Write and contribute to proposals, reports, and research papers

Identify the best approach / algorithms to solve a given use case
