Technical skills : Key Responsibilities : Coordination of request, test and release of patches and software in a global environment.
Responsibilities would include : managing requests for new patch deployments, software deployments through standard defined processes, development and implementation and improvement of those processes, coordinating and executing change control processes that apply to the deployment of patches and software deployments, communications to customer management and end-users as necessary, tracking and reporting on status and success of all deployments, identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Candidate must be proficient and experienced in coordinating the execution of standard ITIL release management processes for patch management, software application deployment, User Acceptance Testing and Large Scale deployment coordination via automated distribution tools (SCCM).
Must be proficient with System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM 2012). Knowledge of PowerShell and VB scripting is beneficial.
Knowledge of Microsoft MDT / SCCM best practices is beneficial. Customer interaction and communication skills (written and verbal) are essential to this position.
Ability to respond and interact with management stakeholders regarding escalation of customer inquiries. Strong SCCM infrastructure management knowledge experience required and strong troubleshooting skills in a large global environment.
o Working Experience / Knowledge and Experience : Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments.
Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Typically 5-7 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
