Our COO IT Application business group is looking for proactive, experienced candidate with technical understanding about the application landscape to join their new team as an
IT Automation Technical Architect (RPA, Chatbot)
The overall objective for this position is to have a strong candidate ensuring successful project execution and delivery in the application landscape.
The current application landscape is in front of significant development and standardization requiring a candidate with the right mindset to understand which application development activities leads to transformed and renewed landscape by utilizing the latest available technology to foster refresh of the new innovative application landscape.
To be successful in this role the candidate must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to review the requirements with a critical mindset to secure latest solution design fitting the overall Enterprise architecture.
The candidate is expected to be able to ensure all business requirements are managed appropriately and deliverables are implemented.
The candidate must also be able to manage changing priorities working with the project manager.
Key Responsibilities / Functions :
The automation scope is based on 2 areas :
RPA Robotics Process Automation
With two main focus in term of responsibilities
Provide expertise on HR RPA and Chatbot tools
Partnership with HR stakeholders and process owners to pro-actively understand and capture business needs
Evaluate RPA tools and provide recommendations
Support pre-sale activities and provide technical solutions, effort estimation, define delivery strategy and plan
Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution.
Define the technical framework considering all relevant artifacts including,
Method of access (internal client network, internet, local access)
User Authentication (SSO, central LDAP, individual log in)
IT Security and / or Audit Policies which impact the robot deployment
User Authorization Processes, its lead times & request process
Applications requiring fat client, any client installation to access, or require individual logins to access
Technical impacts of applications using OCR or Adobe Flash
Technical impacts of applications accessed behind Citrix.
Hosting & Environments
Hosting Locations and Hosting provider (Internal / 3rd party)
Availability of test system by application
Availability of production like test data within test applications
Consistency of test data between applications
Performance & Availability
Performance of key applications in the process that could limit the average handling time of the automation
System availability & timing
1 / RPA
Design, develops and configures automation processes to meet the defined requirements.
Works on the coding for the more complicated automations or reusable components
Develops new processes / tasks / objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand
Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures
Ensures documentation is well maintained
Ensures quality of coded components by performing thorough unit testing
Test and fix bugs with quality
Reports status, issues and risks to tech leads on a regular basis
Improves skills in automation products by completing automation certification
Mentors junior developers and performs code reviews for quality control
2 / Chatbot
Creation of the conversational model
Chatbot configuration and dialogue creation
Train the chatbot based on material input provided by business
Job requirements :
5 to 7 years of IT experience. Minimum two years of experience in leading architecture and design
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network topologies, application authentication / authorization and virtual server / desktop environment
Robotic products infrastructure and sizing, nuances associated with UI automation with various IT landscapes
Should have led a minimum of two project implementations as lead architect in RPA space, involving at least one of the market leading automation products, i.
e. Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI Path etc.
Should be from a programming background on any coding language
Experience in defining the architecture of enterprise level applications involving multiple systems, sub-systems and ERPs
Experience front ending client facing discussions and interfacing with Client Business, IT and Architecture teams
Deep knowledge of industry leading automation products capabilities and technical requirements
Good communication skills & customer interaction skills
Certification in industry leading Robotics Process Automation Products
Working experience in coding on at least 3 projects or 3 years of development.
Knowledge in software development methodology, configuration management and lifecycle
knowledge in Chatbot vendors technology : IBM, Microsoft
Good analytical skills to improvise configuration / scripting to match new situations
Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented
Well organized, good communication and reporting skills
Education : BSc degree.
