Job Description : -
Work with business and SAP functional teams to fully understand the global template for Project System(PS) in SAP
Provide business inputs to the evolution of the global template
Educate business process leadership on the benefits of the To-Be design and the change implications for their organization
Use professional concepts to resolve complex issues in an effective way
Determine methods and procedures on new assignments / provide guidance to less experienced professionals
Write functional specifications on complex issues, and discuss the same with the technical teams and other stakeholders in business teams
Participate in deployments / enhancements reviews
Work in cross functional teams and with the business unit representatives as it pertains to all aspects of the PS function.
This includes understanding the site requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes, and testing to ensure conversion success
Complete key deliverables as assigned such as functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, and others as outlined in the SAP deployment methodology
Ensure that all users can operate new business process effectively with minimum impact to the business
Responsible for the knowledge transfer on functional processes and IT Solution to local business users
Could have direct team reporting or matrix team reporting responsibilities
Empowered to make decisions driving to the best business process to keep project moving forward within the Global Template
Qualification / Experience : -
SAP R / 3 Project System business process configuration knowledge.
Knowledge of S / 4 HANA EPPM / working with Fiori will be an added advantage.
Overall, about 10 to 12 years of experience in international corporations / large Indian IT Organizations / similar industries to Honeywell of which about 8 years or more should be working with SAP Project System module.
Experience in working with S / 4 HANA is added advantage.
Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization. Should operate effectively in a multi-cultural, global environment working with a variety of business layers
Experience in writing functional specifications, development and testing of RICE-F components in Project System area
Experience in development and testing of interfaces to integrate third-party applications with SAP PS or S / 4 EPPM, e.
g., interfaces to SAP CPQ, Accolade, Ecosys, Concur, PeopleSoft, etc.
Should have good presentation skills and ability to prioritize assignments
