JD : Electronics & Electrical Engineer
Roles include team development, project management, overseeing the development, testing of the related vehicle and engine electronics and electrical systems.
Design, develop the hardware and software interfaces to integrate the system into the vehicle, instrumenting and troubleshooting vehicles for testing, analyzing test data, and recommending solutions for test failures.
What you will do
Develop and support integration of vehicle electronic and electrical systems
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, product management, and manufacturing operations.
Work with approval agencies to achieve and / or maintain product approvals.
Perform failure analysis of returned product and occasionally travel to customer / end user sites to determine root causes of field issues.
Function as electronics engineer in developing all new state of the art vehicle and powertrain systems
Be responsible for circuit topology selection, components selection, circuit board layout, control algorithm development, prototyping, testing and validation of vehicle electronics and electrical systems
Contribute to powertrain and vehicle level integrations from prototype to production
Analyze motors on the market, perform tests on materials, testing different solutions and testing complete systems
Define tests and conduct them at the in-house dyno room, external laboratory houses and perform field testing on test vehicles to validate design functionality
Provide support to production and assembly during the production of prototypes
Participate in the design of components, which must be in compliance with automotive industry standards, in terms of EMC, safety, noise, vibration and environment etc.
CAD modeling in collaboration with other team members
Participate in the optimization process for prototypes and adapting them for production
Work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing and supply chain to bring the product into mass production
Develop, validate and enhance various power electronic products for electric vehicles
Skills you will need for success
Circuit design and / or analysis
Design verification testing
Root cause analysis
Familiarity with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition units
Technical writing, Written and verbal communications
Familiarity with software / firmware development
Computer proficiency including MS Office
Experience in power electronics development and manufacturing
Experience in PCB design, using schematic capture and layout tools.
Knowledge of motor control principles
A strong desire to create state-of-the-art engineering products as an integral part of a very capable team
A flair for creative design engineering and problem solving
Large volume product development experience
Basic understanding of overall petrol, diesel & electric vehicle components and functionalities
Design release engineering experience including engineering change management and project management experience
Experience in ECU software development cycle from requirement gathering to testing, bug fixing and release of production software for ECUs using Model-Based System Engineering approach.
