Position Summary

This position will be involved in the roll out and ongoing support of and enhancements to process initiatives. This is an on-going operational role to ensure that the data provided to the solution meets the needs of the downstream users.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and support of incoming data processing
  • Analyze data for anomalies, conformity and identify trends that could cause downstream impacts.
  • Understand the business impact data changes may have on products.
  • Write SQL queries to analyze the data.
  • Generate test cases for data validation.
  • Address system exceptions when there are issues with the data.
  • Responsible for conducting internal audits, documenting findings, and reviewing corrective actions with affected areas.
  • Ensures all users and stakeholders are appropriately trained on solution(s).
  • Creates, monitors, and improves the overall processes, business rules, and documentation.
  • Directs research, analysis and process improvements.
  • Serves as the communication focal point for solution users.
  • Participates as part of cross-functional teams responsible for investigating issues, proposing solutions and implementing corrective actions.
  • Identifies enhancement opportunities with current processes to improve timing, cost or quality.
  • Develops training plan for new employees as it relates to solution.
  • Works closely with all levels of management and employees across Automotive business line.
  • May interact with external customers and vendors.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years experience within a professional environment involving product release.
  • At least 2 years working in a role with process as a primary focus.
  • Knowledge of new product development philosophies and industry standards.
  • Must be creative, detail oriented and capable of balancing the big picture with meeting the day-to-day needs of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inform, educate and influence managers and employees to support goals and initiatives.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Previous experience with using SQL tools and Oracle databases
  • General knowledge of automotive industry
