TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations.
They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Understand all requirements of both TE and the customer before the project is started. Plan undertake prcesses to establish the scope of the project, refine the objectives and define the course of action required to attain the design requirements and contractual obligations for TE.
Estimate phase times and ensure appropriate resources are available to achieve project goals. Execute undertake prcesses to complete the work defined in the project management plan in order to satisfy project specifications.
Exert appropriate level of control over the project to ensure that deadlines and deliverables are met according to the project plan.
Proactively manage project to prevent delays to the schedule or budget overruns. Clse undertake processes to finalize all activities across the project team and with Stakeholders to formally close the project or phase and transfer the completed product to operations or to close a cancelled project.
Ensure that long-term liabilities are considered and managed.
