The Modern Work Domain within Industry Solutions helps customers maximize their investment in Microsoft 365 solutions and helps customers in providing productivity solutions on full portfolio of M365 products (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Yammer) to help them get work done in a faster, better and predictable way through accelerated implementation and adoption.

    Consultant Role : Technical Delivery

    Technical Delivery

    Participates and leads gathering of customer requirements and constraints.

    Participates in project planning and contributes to risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.

    Communicates the business value of planned technology uses and deployments.

    Contributes to, and delivers against, a Work Breakdown Structure.

    Intellectual Property and Readiness

    Makes use of, and maintains, Microsoft’s Intellectual Property; creates new materials when needed.

    Learns and make us of modern technologies, services or approaches based on business demands and industry trends.

    Participates and contributes to internal / external community events.

    Engages in mentor / mentee relationships to enhance Microsoft’s professional / technical capabilities.

    Pre-Sales Support

    Participates in the pre-sale process as needed. Helps scope the project by sharing customer or technical knowledge in their specialty domain by leveraging their expertise as a subject matter expert.

    Technical Delivery

    Follows capacity process outlined by Global Capacity Management team. Maintains tools with up-to-date skills and availability.

    Participates in and / or may lead meetings with customers / partners to understand their business needs and / or scenario they are trying to solve.

    Uses business, technology, and industry strategies to define customer / partner requirements and constraints. Engages others appropriately to understand and define customer requirements.

    Supports project planning and the development of project documents by defining the risks and dependencies. Communicates the business value of planned solutions to customers / partners with direction / guidance.

    Implements mitigations on technical and business risks. Manages their schedule and communicates to project leads. Delivers against Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

    Implements technical solutions by completing assigned project tasks with defined quality standards and following Microsoft Services processes.

    May oversee aspects of implementation.

    Proactively identifies issues and risks and engages with customers / partners or internal stakeholders Project Managers) as appropriate to address and resolve issues.

    Proactively manages relationships with customers / partners / stakeholders to identify and contribute to the drivers of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, determine the root cause, and establish recovery actions to improve experience.

    Intellectual Property Management

    Acts as an ambassador in consumption of intellectual property (IP) and leverages IP in projects. Proactively assists in the creation of intellection property content and seeks areas that are available for more IP.

    Communicates areas that need refreshing or gaps in intellectual property. Provides feedback for continuous improvement.

    Business Development

    Identifies opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption and consumption of the cloud and Microsoft technologies.

    Readiness

    Learns new technologies or services based on business demands and industry trends. Obtains relevant accreditations and certification(s) as advised by domain leadership team.

    Shares experiences, best practices, and product news within the team. Participates in relevant technical communities at Microsoft.

    Operational Excellence

    Completes operational tasks and readiness, and ensures timeliness and accuracy. Follows Microsoft policies, compliance, and procedures Enterprise Services Authorization Policy, Standards of Business Conduct, labor logging, expenses, travel guidelines).

    Areas of Expertise :

  • 7+ years of experience in IT consulting, infrastructure deployment
  • 3+ years of in-depth experience in M365, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Modern Device Management workloads including Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting, CSOM, .Net
  • Deep knowledge and Certification to build Enterprise scale end-to-end solutions on Microsoft 365 (E5) security components such as Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Microsoft Endpoint Data Loss Prevention, Microsoft Information Protection, Microsoft Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection, advanced e-discovery etc.,
  • Deep knowledge to build Enterprise scale end-to-end solutions for data classification, data protection and compliance
  • Office 365 Security and compliance Auditing and alerting
  • Identity protection and security tools in Azure Active directory.
  • Azure Active Directory conditional access with office 365 and third-party applications
  • Active Directory Federation Services
  • Office 365 Identity synchronization planning, design, and deployment of AAD connect service for Office 365 identity management.
  • Planning and deployment of Exchange Hybrid with Office 365. Working experience on Exchange online migrations.
  • Office 365 tenant planning and onboarding, tenant assessment
  • Office 365 Tenant to Tenant Migration Structure Planning
  • Notes to Exchange On-Prem Migration Planning, Configuration and Migration using Binary Tree (Nice to have)
  • Design and deployment of Exchange 2016 / 2019 on premise environment. Migration from old Exchange version to latest Exchange environment.
  • Notes to Exchange On-Prem Migration Planning, Configuration and Migration using Binary Tree (Nice to have)
  • Hands-on Experience in Planning, Design & Deployment of Exchange 2016 / 2019, Exchange Online and Office 365 onboarding
  • Cross Forest Mailbox Migration
  • Windows PowerShell for automation of day to day administrative and Office 365 configuration tasks
  • Basic understanding on Networking, proxy, firewall, bandwidth planning for Office 365 deployment. Office 365 tenant planning and onboarding, tenant assessment
  • SharePoint Online and OneDrive configuration
  • MS Teams deployment
  • SharePoint Online and OneDrive configuration
  • Experience with related Office 365 technologies like Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams or SharePoint is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Qualifications :

  • Must have a degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience with over 7+ years of relevant work experience,
  • Experience working in a Services organization in a consulting capacity is strongly preferred. Experience working on multi-phase global implementations is preferred.
  • Having Microsoft Certifications on M365 such as MD-100, MD-101, MS-100, MS-101, MS-500, MS-700 is a plus
