Job Description : Responsibilities :
Develop Detailed Design documentation based on business requirements
Work with the JD Edwards IT Delivery Team coordinating activities with the Project Team functional leads
Govern the application configuration and future modifications
Provide end user support
Develop support proficiency in the Sales Order Management and Inventory modules
Test software upgrades and enhancements
Monitor integrity reports and work with end users to correct them
Assist other programmers and analysts in the development and implementation of new programs and systems
Assist in developing and modifying complex security roles
Strong skills in providing business process improvement proposals to decision makers leveraging JD Edwards functionality and capability
Additional responsibilities include :
Develop support procedures and continuously improve the application support process
Coordinate end user training classes
Assist with the roll out of additional modules
Assist with the roll out of JDE to additional business units
Respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
Requirements / Skills :
7 to 10 years direct JD Edwards application software in a consulting, application support, or development role
Experience creating business requirements.
Experience creating detailed functional design documentation from business requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working directly with end users
Strong business process knowledge (specific to the assigned functional area).
Advanced Pricing knowledge a plus
Development experience in an EnterpriseOne environment a plus
Understands JDE integration methodology and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
Minimum 5 years of experience with EnterpriseOne modules including Sales Order Management, Inventory and Procurement :
oSpecific Sales Order Management knowledge would include the ability to;
Create Sales Orders, Blanket PO’s and Quotes
Perform Inter-site transfers
Create Credit Orders
Perform Inventory Allocation
Setup Account Preferences
Setup Accounts including base pricing
o Specific Inventory knowledge would include the ability to;
Setup items via the Item Master
Perform Inventory Adjustments
Perform periodic inventory cycle counts
Produce inventory reports
