We’re seeking a SolutionArchitect, Solution Engineering based in our Pune, India office . Inthis role, you should have extensive system design experience in businessevent-

driven transactions and deep Java development.

Keyresponsibilities :

  • Beresponsible for managing team in design, code development, testing and deliveryof solutions
  • Beresponsible for delivering code development and testing as per project timelinesand ensure smooth knowledge transfer in partnership with on-
  • shore and offshorestakeholders.

  • Mustbe able to multi-task, handling numerous competing priorities.
  • Workwith business partners to understand their needs and proactively lead them tosolutions.
  • Providesolution implementation to team members including : system set-ups, development,system and integration testing, and user training.
  • Enforceand deliver common framework architecture and high-level design within theteam.
  • Conductdetailed design, code and test reviews
  • Align execution priorities project delivery, employee goals, and establish service levels with businessand functional owners to drive service quality through quality control
  • Partner with allstakeholders as required to implement employer branding and talent attraction,performance management, employee development, employee engagement and retentionprograms
  • Ensurethe implementation of high-end, business-wide, critical strategy set by seniormanagement
  • Provide direct oversightof development teams, adhering to development standards and SLAs, andescalating risks and issues to the Engineering Delivery Head
  • Invest time on a dailybasis on all projects to remove impediments and provide solutions to technicalchallenges and make escalations as necessary
  • Define and revise (ifneeded) metric / performance reporting under directions from Engineering DeliveryHead to ensure viability of service levels
  • Participate in capacityand program planning exercises
  • Mentor Senior Associate,Associates and Junior Associates
  • Maintain effectivecommunication with clients, business and partners as needed
  • What we require :

  • B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
  • Minimumof 5-8 years of experience in software architecture and engineering
  • 10+total years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in a fast pacedcorporate environment 4+ years of experience leading and managing softwaredevelopment teams using web and mobile development technologies and frameworks
  • Deep understanding andexpertise of online platforms serving high traffic and transaction volumesunder various form factors web, mobile, tablet, kiosk.
  • Deep understanding andexpertise of API security, authentication and authorization concepts
  • Rock solid experience withJava / J2EE technologies and AngularJS required
  • Hands-on experiencecreating and exposing APIs utilizing J2EE frameworks like Spring
  • Technical areas ofexpertise :
  • Experiencewith Java / J2EE technologies (JSP, Spring, Spring-boot, Felix, Linux, Webservers, Webservices (SOAP & REST) and Amazon AWS)
  • Experiencewith using latest engineering tools (eg. Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git)
  • Experiencewith agile development
  • Strongunderstanding of web design and development frameworks

  • Understanding of variousdevelopment methodologies, including : Traditional Waterfall and IterativeDevelopment Methods (Unified Process and Agile)
  • Self-starter with abilityto multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results
  • Strong Customer Centricmindset with an ability to outperform Service Level Agreements on Customersatisfaction and experience.
  • Extensive experience inrelease management and agile methodologies preferred.
