Anopportunity exists to join the Oracle Linux and Virtualization ProfessionalServices sales team. The role is focused on growing and developing the Globalmarket by maximizing the Oracle Linux and Virtualization Professional Servicesrevenues and margin.
Reportingto the Professional Service’s Practice Director, the chosen candidate has theopportunity to shape future business across the Global market. Individuals of a high caliber are sought to develop existing and new accounts.
Thechosen candidate will need to work closely with both the Oracle Sales Rep andSales Consultants to grow professional service revenues; equally important willbe the ability to drive proactive professional service engagements intoinstalled base accounts and beyond.
-Proactiveidentification, qualification and maximization of professional serviceopportunities for Oracle Linux and Virtualization globally.
-Strongsales ability, influencing and value-based selling capability, identificationof the appropriate Oracle Professional service Value Proposition and interpretationto the prospective client(s).·
-Generatingproposals either as part of a license led opportunity or proactively for professionalservice.
-Workingclosely with the Professional Service’s Practice Director contributing to the“go to market” strategy
-Generating,communicating and delivering the necessary sales documentation i.e. budgetaryestimates, ordering document, and exhibit.
-Managingthe bid process for professional service proposals
-Accuratelyforecasting against plans and targets
-Developingand maintaining relationships with key decision makers in the designatedaccounts
-Monitoringthe delivery of professional service business once won to ensure clients remainsatisfied
-Acting asa point of escalation and resolutions for unresolved client issues
-Pro-activelyupdating industry and product knowledge
·Becomfortable engaging at all levels within customers and partner organizations.
·Translatecustomer requirements and IT strategies into deliverable solutions andtransformation plans.
·Developproposals to satisfy customer’s professional service needs.
·Definestatements of work that include all of the customers project requirementsneeded to successfully complete the project and define the accurate amount oftime required to complete the project.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.
Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.
5-8 years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
