Amazon India is looking for a superstar Program Manager to drive business growth in India. The candidate will be responsible for identification and growth of new ideas, developing and implementing Program strategy.

The Program Manager will be responsible for defining a program roadmap and requirements for the platform. Throughout this process the Program Manager will drive continuous innovation and improvements to deliver fast, easy, and rich functionality, and help deliver on the best in class customer experience.

Manage a small team of high performing individuals to perform a variety of tasks in populating / procuring content for the product catalogs on the Amazon Web Site.

Duties for the team include, content creation, population of content from various sources (including research on the internet), interacting / coordinating with sellers / manufacturers, identifying and correcting errors / complaints, maintaining records of work received and work performed etc.

  • Liaising with various teams to create and define standard operating procedures and processes for the team enabling them to execute on the vision.
  • Responsibilities also include maintaining the health of the catalog by performing regular audits, doing root cause resolution to fix issues found, closing the loop with sellers and train them on the fixes.
  • Experience with Catalog audit and content creation will be a advantage
  • Drive the programs independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate ownership
  • Developing automated and standardized reporting decks for stakeholders (compliant with Amazon data policy, standards and SLA’s).
  • Writing strong, well-structured and detail oriented business proposals.
  • Influencing and communicating ideas effectively (both verbally and in writing), within and outside your team also knowing when to ask for help.
  • You’ll have experience successfully presenting ideas and reports to management

  • Operating with considerable autonomy, frugality and discretion and working efficiently with minimal oversight, good prioritization and good judgment.
  • You will identify and evaluate potential risks / obstacles and determine appropriate corrective action.

  • Scoping, driving and delivering complex, medium to large-scale projects. You will define clear milestones and set the expectations of stakeholders effectively.
  • You will model and design projects with future global roll out / constraints in mind and may participate in development of budgets.

    You will always make the right trade-off between schedule, resources and scope in order to get the job done within time and budget.


  • Directly managed operations, and a small team of 4-6 people for at least 2 years.
  • 5+ years of work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire and develop a strong team.
  • Demonstrated experience of process improvement and automation.
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment.
  • Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business by the numbers . Must be metrics-driven.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.

  • Advanced IT literacy especially in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Track record of managing and troubleshooting technical and business integration projects.
  • Strong process definition and optimization skills; proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination.
  • Attention to detail and capability to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage

  • Proof that you are capable of both high-level strategic thinking and detailed execution
  • Consistent track record of taking ownership and driving results
