Designation : - Consultant Specialist Location Hyderabad Experience Total Experience 5 to 10 years (Minimum 3 years relevant exp in SAS)

  • SAS Installation, Configuration and Implementation experience.
  • Deep understanding of the SAS Platform architecture.
  • Linux administration experience / knowledge working with the shell, understanding scripting, integrated authentication stacks (AD / Linux integration, Krb and ldap based directory services, SSO identity services, Centrify) , file systems, security, secure shell, permissions, process management, regular maintenance tasks, parsing and interpretation of system and application logs.
  • Debugging issues with core services. Monitoring.

  • RDBMS : Oracle, Postgres, Mysql knowledge (desirable).
  • Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Hadoop, SAS VA, SAS HPA, SAS Grid is desirable
  • Availability to work the
  • Shift pattern required for this role, i.e. Availability to work out of hours on call .

  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Broad range of IT systems, SAS or equivalent products is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in relevant environment / s, i.e. Collaborating with remote individuals / teams is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in relevant market / context, i.e. Financial is desirable but not essential
  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e. SAS Certified Platform Administrator is desirable but not essential
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Support is desirable but not essential
  • A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
  • Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
  • Self awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques
