Job Summary :

The Manager, Solutions Architecture is an experienced professional with cross-domain and cross-functional expertise. He / she outlines opportunity solutions, then monitors and governs their implementation.

At ISGN, The role of "Solutions Architect" requires knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep. To be effective the Solutions Architect must have experience across one or more Mortgage functions and be comfortable with unstructured work environments.

The Manager, Solutions Architecture is a seasoned professional with deep understanding of the company’s products and services as well as thorough knowledge of company procedures and designs related to Pre and Post Sales, Technology Solutions, Quality Control, Pricing and Contracts.

The person needs to have the ability to share and communicate ideas verbally, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language that is the parlance of each group.

The Manager, Solutions Architecture will be a single point of ownership and accountability on all solution related elements specific to an assigned pursuit.

He / She will manage RFPs, RFIs, Vendor Assessment Questionnaires, Contract Reviews, Pricing and support proactive build of proposals

Knowledge :

The following are key knowledge areas required for a :

  • Prior IT product / platform experience;
  • Over 3 years of Pre Sales / Solutions Experience;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Financial Services vertical / industry;
  • Experience working on projects overseas and within client locations will be a plus;
  • Potential exposure to large scale product implementations will be a plus;
  • Significant experience working with cross functional departments and internal stakeholders

    Skills & Ability :

    The following are key Skill and Ability areas required for a :

  • Strong writing skills (build solutions ground up with limited support / information);
  • Strong project management background;
  • Ability to work simultaneously on two or more projects;
  • Ability to handle problems and issues that arise; and solve problems for which there are no precedents or guidelines;
  • Ability to make effective recommendations regarding the product positioning, pricing, contractual terms etc.

  • Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with executive management;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills;
  • Above Average in MS office package PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio.

    Responsibilities :

    The following are general responsibilities of :

  • Ensure that solution strategies are designed, finalized and bundled in the most efficient manner;
  • Interact with client facing teams such as Sales and Product Managers to assist in providing sales presentations and detailed solution proposals;
  • Build enterprise wide and standard sales presentations by understanding the client needs, highlighting ISGN’s strength and capabilities and recommending solutions along with an implementation plan;
  • Review legal contracts to identify risks and suggest change in language / approach;
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to acquire necessary information to build proposals and sales presentations;
  • Work directly with senior and executive management to qualify / decline new deals by projecting the potential profitability of each project;
  • Interact with Technology Product Managers to translate the client’s business needs into appropriate language;
  • Coordinate Client visits / Due Diligence and own outcomes;
  • Manage & Coordinate Pricing specific to pursuits.

    Education Qualifications :

  • Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Master’s Degree - Management (will be an added advantage).

    Additional Requirements :

  • Works closely with Sales and Product Managers to collect, arrange and input information essential for sales presentations and project proposals;
  • Frequent interaction with executive management including the CTO, Sales Head, CIO and CEO;
  • Frequent interaction with Pricing, IT, Product and Legal Departments.
