VMware’s IT is looking for a Manager to own the design and development of VMware's next-generation Subscription Billing System, to support VMware’s SaaS Initiatives.

You will bring your domain experience / expertise in Subscription Offer Management / Pricing / Subscription & Provisioning / Billing (Convergent Charging & Invoicing), Payment Methods and drive the adoption of robust practices as we build a scalable SaaS Billing platform for long-
term business supportability.
Own and conduct system design sessions and align to operations processes
Own & drive functionality / design of VMW’s next-gen SaaS business model as a product to meet future needs, scalability, keeping industry-
leading best-practices in mind
Own the end-to-end responsibility for delivering and supporting the Cloud Automation platform and services (SaaS and On-Premise).
Drive the architecture, design, engineering efficiency and optimize the development process for continuous product delivery.
Lead and mentor an extraordinary engineering team, helping individuals achieve their career goals.
Develop project plans and execute against them in an agile environment.
Work with senior management across functions to develop a long-term strategy for the product and the team.
Extensive hands on previous SAP CRM SOM / ECC
Experience in Provider Order & Contract processing, including upstream & downstream integration
Good understanding of how Subscription Order Management with Usages, Billing, and Invoicing
Work with geographically distributed team comprised of R&D, IT and Operations
1-3 years as a Software Development Manager with multiple direct reports.
10 12 years of experience with significant depth in SDLC & Agile practices of enterprise-class products.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in crafting / developing / maintaining highly scalable and resilient system in the SaaS business models
Demonstrated leadership, people management, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to understand product design and architecture. Willing and able to get into the technical details.
Experience in crafting creative solutions to difficult problems
Demonstrated proactive, self-motivated, quality focus, customer-centric mindset.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies.
Proven track record of recruiting and retaining top engineering talent.
Experience in delivering highly scalable products.
Multiple end-to-end project experience with various Hybris BRIM, SD & CRM application areas including
Knowledge of ASAP methodology / SOLMAN & Exposure / knowledge to SAP's Best Practices
Strong Interpersonal skills : strong presentation / communication / facilitation / leadership skills (oral and written).
Comfortable working with senior executives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
